True to some degree I suppose..........

I have two Marshall amps, the 30watt has all the bells and whistles, I can't figure out how to work it.
It has a programmable foot controller and 4 channels plus clean/crunch.......

Marshall instructions are lousy, the owner's manual is devoid of detail!

Gus

go to a music store and get one of the techs to show you,, or have you looked on YT??? theyh have most all the answers LOLOL

Phill,
4T for 160,, cant beat that. I paid about 120 for my 2T which is now only 100. Idd spend the 60 extra for the 4T though. Not to mention this one is also passowrd protected.  Ifits anything like a jump drive I had THAT is a great feature. you have open space and then a file thats locked, any "sensitive" stuff can go in there for protection.

I read chordie every day. Sometimes my day is so hectic and busy that I don`t have the time to post anything. I have some things going on at home and I have to put guitar on the back burner sometimes. Facebook is what I go on for a couple of hours each night. A lot of chordians are facebook friends and we can get into deeper subjects on that instead of here. Anyone here is welcome on my page and it is more personal than here. this is a great place, but there are limits as to what can be discussed here.

JX3 on my Triumph fourm,, we now have a special section called "THE CONE OF SILENCE"  You haveto ask to be a part of it. its a no holds barred section for any rant you feel like making no matter what the topic , I have to admit I usually just read it for a few good laughs and see what ppl are emotional about.

I dont think its needed here though wink

Dino, things might pick up when football season picks up. Maybe, for the time being, Chordie could offer a "Buck Nakkid" hopscotch tournament. We could sign up people and give prizes for the biggest hop and drink a lotta scotch.

Nela

Scotch is good and maybe we could have some languerie football games now.

+1!  But Ill just be a side line reff,, Amy will have to Captain a team ! LOLOLOL smile

Nela, there are I would say about 30 CORE members. out of that you will have about 10 active posters who will carry a conversation in a topic.  The core bunch is usually beyond talking basic stuff at this point.   I think we just wait till something really moves us to start a new post.  Dino is also correct in lots of stuff being done through other social outlets.  I regularly start chats with Amy, Zurff, Jets, Wayne,  topdown and Russell. Every so often ill put a topic up on the forum,, I also look for new members and try to get them the help they ask for and invite them to join.  TF is probably the most recent member who post

tooth pick under the Nut is a good trick to get started, mutes out the strings you are not wanting to play. (George Thorogood mentioned this trick in a article I read a long time ago, I wanted to play Who do you love-bo didly beat!)  slide is tricky,, I still have not gotten the hang of it.

just got a welcome letter fromJamkazam, and as noted by amy you can not run skype with it due to band width. here is what they put in the letter.

1.       You really need to connect your computer to your network with an Ethernet cable. Do not use WiFi. In our testing, we found that WiFi creates both latency and audio quality problems. It’s not a question of bandwidth. It’s a packet rate problem. Most network gear simply cannot keep up with the packet rate of this service using WiFi.

2.       Don’t run other media-intensive apps on your computer or your home network while you are in a session. For example, if you run Skype at the same time as JamKazam on your computer, Skype will seriously degrade JamKazam audio performance. If someone in your home is streaming a Netflix movie, this has much less impact on your JamKazam session than another app like Skype running on your computer, but these other streaming services may have some impact on your session audio quality.

So to use this I would have to have my modem / router moved to the man room, OR run a long cable outside the house (and we all know earthernet cable is not cheep) to the man room.  So I really  dont see me using this now. but D! itwould ahve been so cool!
