Being the eldest girl of a 8 brothers and 2 sisters. There aint nothing i dont know about kids. I love the challenge of them. Get right down on your hunkers and look them straight in the eye.. Talk to them and there putty in your hands.
No mystery at all to kids. Undivided attention is what its all about. oh! and guidence. if your happy with them then there happy.

My lovely neighbour has a beautiful cat. She { the cat } brings all kinds of gifts ?
One's i can do without. The other day while my neighbour was at work, she { the cat } decided to present me with a baby starling ! I retrieved it from her mouth,
the wee bird did manage to fly, but i spent the rest of the day worrying, did it survive??.
Roger Guppy our admin here has great stories about his cats and what they get up to. I just cannot handle this side of nature. Ah, give me dogs anyday. They just want to chew up the postman and glorified litter louts who fill up my mail box.

Our petrol has jumped 12% since January 08.
Euro. 124.9 per litre petrol.
Diesel 132.4 litre.
Our home heating oil has gone up 61% since last year also. My last fill of 1ooo litres
cost me 800 euro or 1200 dollars.
Im gonna have to find a good warm busking spot if this keeps up! Anyone out there want to mind this old Doll for next winter ?. Im a good cook Florist, and Massage therapist. Preferably near a beach Replies to chordie.

I go to a festival every year in july.
Its in the beautiful Mountains of Mourne, Northern Ireland.
Musicians from around the globe doing there thing. Wonderful sessions.
Open air dancing, concerts, walks in Kibroney, or along The Fairy Glen.
art. poetry, dulcimer classes crafts. You name it they have it.
Wonderful local people, Beautiful Rostrevor. Im so in love with the place and its Kin.

I have been many times in places like this. I love to flyfish so over the years i have sat by many lakes and watched nature doing its thing. Nothing better to compare to it.
Not having a flushing loo never did bother me either. There are other ways to deal with this!!

Holy god the powers that be sent a turkey from here for Eurovision.
Needless to say he got nowhere. We are good a lots of things but, turkeys should be stuffed and roasted not sent to singing competitions.

Artfully Splattered LOL. One of my busiest work times is christmas.
Christmas week 06 I had everything in order in my house. Lady the jack russell
loves being washed and pampered. Hops back into her bed delighted with life.
I guess its her age!
Ben my beautiful black hairy hound doesnt like it at all. He disappeared from the house. 20 minutes later he arrived back smelling like a dung house. He had rolled Himself all over in horse / cow shi# in a field near. I thought the quickiest way to deal with this was wash him in the shower as i had visitors arriving.
Popped him in the shower stall and hit the on switch.
i never did look at the settings. Well the water was to hot and he bolted from the shower stall and the shock of to hot water.
He stood in the middle of the bathroom and shook his long coat vigoursly.
I nearly passed out as i watched newly decorated soft cream walls being splattered with greeny watery dropletts. Hundreds of them. I remember sitting on the floor of my bathroom wondering will i let myself have the nervous breakdown i felt rapidly coming on, while my beautiful mutt was looking at me totally perplexed.
He { Ben was taken to the yard and hosed down, while i told my guests on arrival
" If after using the bathroom they wanted to hear a shitt# story just ask !

Both my parents died on the 3rd of June. My Dad is buried in france. My Mam
on a mountain near my home here. 37 years Dad / 21 years Mam passed. It sure is a long time without physically seeing or hugging them.
Where did it all go Indeed.
