Thanks Joe, I have a band saw to cut it down to size and carving tools and files. Think I will fashion both and install next string change. I will record the sound before and after to compare.

Re: Bone Saddles (12 replies, posted in Guitars and accessories)
I agree. I like bone saddles and nuts. Sometimes I just go to the pet store, buy a bleached cow bone and carve my own - cheap but stinky. Still, they sound really good.
Hey Joe, I have an old deer antler someone gave me years ago, would that work for a saddle and nut ?? its very dense material.

Very neat badeye. The pool looks quite inviting as I'm shivering here in the snow.
Inviting indeed. Seem you guys are getting a real Maritime winter, and here its not as bad as years gone by. Hang in there it'll be over soon.

Re: PLAYING NAKED in your birth clothes (12 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
We were in the middle of a mosh pit at Woodstock 94', up by the stage and all of a sudden these four guys jumped on the stage full of mud and naked, they grabed guitars and started to play, it was Nine Inch Nails. the mosh pit went crazy. My buddie john and I backed away
from the pit as someone was going to get injured for sure. We were mud head to toe. thats the last mosh pit for me . lol It was a blast.

Re: spruce top (11 replies, posted in Guitars and accessories)
Thanks pix,I see what the open air does first hand, I have a four year old fender acoustic and can really notice the change. I tend to like the darker shade. I'm still deciding which route to take, so in the meantime I'll leave it on the stand.
Will the sanding route change the tone ?
thank you again... Badeye..
