As I sat listening i thought, a pleasant light hearted little tune. I wasn't ready for the second half, took me completely by surprise. Nice work.

I enjoyed very much your interpretation of this old classic. Also great video, and I also learned what a ditto looper is. I always enjoy your posts Russ, keep em coming.

Looks like a great tool and they make it look so easy.

A nice steady Ballard to finish the set, we used to call it the bum grabber. Not sure how that translates over the pond, but congratulations to you and the boy's on another great tune.

I particularly like the post I read somewhere on chordie congratulating someone on how many orbits of the sun they'd completed. This summer with a bit of luck I shall be completing my sixty forth orbit.

Sorry Bill, I don't do man hugs and I'm certainly not going to kiss you. But if you would like to give Dondra one for me ( a hug and kiss I mean). And tell her that's all the way from Robin Hood County. I would be most grateful. Wishing you both a very Happy Christmas and all the best for the new year.

Good luck TF, I'm sure all will go well and you'll be up and about in no time.

I'm only just coming to terms with stereo, so all this talk of streaming is way over my head. Locally we have some great shops specialising in vinyl and as most of the stuff I buy is 60's or 70's I have no problems. I do have many cd's but much prefare the 12 inch LPs for the artwork.
bring back mono I say.

Haven't heard this one for years. I always enjoy your posts, you look like you're having fun and it comes across in your music.

Great tune, I would have liked to have heard an instrumental break lead by the mandolin.

You nearly blew my head off. I thought Rev Horton Heat was going to sing some quiet little Christmas hymn, I wasn't expecting some Chuck Berry tribute blasting through the headphones. Love it, going to check out some more of his stuff.

I just get a message telling me that this video is unavailable.  Incidentally,  the first record I ever brought was a Beach Boys single. Good Vibrations

Hello. The song just naturally took me into a 3/4 rhythm, ie. An up down strum of. D 123,123. C 123,123. G 1//. Then maybe follow e b's idea to break things up a Little. Love the lyrics, thanks for posting.

Very nice easy listening sort of stuff, travel's well to the other side of the planet, and beyond

Nice one Bill, if I hadn't seen the vid I might of thought Gary Moore.

I'll have a pint of what he's on. Hilarious.

As Musicator Extraordinaire you're going to make a great job of this. Although I couldn't get the vid to play I did read the lyrics. Why not swap the name Della for Dondra? Good luck Bill.

Hi everyone, I know I'm going over old ground here, I may have missed something, but where's old NELA got to? I sure do miss his posts and that dry humour. Have any of the Mods been in contact?
