Hi all
Being quite a new member I have been going through a lot of older posts to see what was happening around here back when. One of the things I have noticed is that there a lot less posts nowadays concerning problems and I hate to say this but the moderators seem to be doing a great job keeping things in order. Another thing I have picked up on is that while some posts don'r attract a lot of comment ALL of them get plenty of attention judging by the amount of views each topic gets. I assume everybody is interested enough to read what is going on but just don't have a contribution to make at the time.

If you are like me and have a problem finding the right key to sing certain songs then play and sing without your capo and then just move it on up the fretboard one fret at a time until you feel comfortable singing the song. If I still can't find a reasonable key l I just break in!!
Hi
Thanks for your advice but I have sorted it out. If it helps anybody else go to the index page of your songbook and select the box to the left of the song name/s you wish to delete. Scroll to the bottom and select delete selected song and voila it's gone from your songbook allowing you to add further songs.
Hi all
I am trying to remove a song from my maxed out songbook to add a better version bit each time I click remove I get the message - File not found
This file does not exist. Most likely this is because we have rearranged our pages.
Does this mean I am stuck with this song in my songbook or is there another way to remove it?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Ian
Hi
The first song is called As Soon as I Can and is by Johnny McEvoy - It's a 3 chord song and the chord progression is G-D-C but can't find a TAB. There is a video on YouTube.
The second song is anybody's guess. I've never heard of it.
Hope this helps
Ian
Thanks to you both Pete and Scott for your help on this one. I think I've got it now.

Hi Darkvalley - that does seem correct. Now I just need to figure out what 5 2m means. Thanks for your help.
Hi all
On the Bellamy Brothers page there is a song called Sugar Daddy that I would like to play but I don't understand the notation. I may just be thick but could somebody help me out and explain it to me?
Thank you
The point I am making is that if webmasters are forced to remove chords and TABS from their sites for reasons of copyright then they will be removed from Chordie by default simply because that is the way the site works. I would really hate to see that happen. I will certainly start to print the songs I currently have in my songbook just in case of that eventuality - thanks for the tip Dino.
Hi
I'm very new to Chordie and must say it is what I have been looking for. Everything I want is in one place and the option to create a personal songbook absolutely rocks.
BUT - I have noticed that a number of sites I have used before have stopped hosting TABS and chords for legal reasons in the last week or so. Am I correct that this will affect the TABS and chords available via Chordie? Also, will this affect what is in my songbook?
As an example both Justin Sandercoe and Fretplay have removed the TABS option.
Thanks for any advice you can provide. Having just found this place I would like it to stay around.
Thanks for that - it was a great help
Trying desperately to find the chords for this song from the film Meatballs
