Well toots i cant access your video at work but i'm sure it's good. Pastor i'm with you 100% and i rejoice with you Praising God for his blessings and those that do a good job of something.
Rage you deserve the right to praise whomever you wish as anyone else is but this isn't the place for religious arguments and i'm sure the moderators will edit anything that isn't worthy of this site. Welcome to chordie.

Well it doesn't look like i'll ever see snow anymore. All it will do here in middle Georgia is rain for a whole week now. I'm feeling kind of waterlogged. It would be nice to have a little snow for Christmas but not enough to really make everything shut down.

Hey Washed By Him. I haven't seen you post anything in a while. Good to see you back. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours as well.

I notice pick clicking when i attempt the index/thumb hold on a pick. I usually pinch mine against my index and middle with my thumb. That way it adds a bend in the pick and gives it a little stability. Does anyone else hold their pick this way?

What a generous thought Pix. I could use a little bluegrass lesson or two. Enter me please. God bless you for your generosity this season.

The Little Martin is a great sounding 3/4 size guitar. It sounds like a full sized guitar just not as loud. Then Taylor has the Baby Taylor that is a 3/4 size that is just as good. I think both are priced at around $300. As for parlor size look at Seagull and Yamaha APX series. The Fender Malibu is also pretty good for the money.

and over to Ireland/Scotland

Now that's interesting. This makes it look like Ireland is somehow synonymous with Scotland. It's always interesting to be able to see how other nations view your own country. It would seem that Scotland and Ireland are viewed as the same place and not as two seperate countries, both passionate about protecting their national identity. It looks like we have a lot of work still to do.

Please don't take this as a personal attack or a nationalistic rant; as I say, it's just interesting. And if you ever make it over the Atlantic give me a wave from the plane and I'll come and pick you up from the airport wink I'd be happy to show you around.

LOL!!  Alvee you would have to have pretty good eyesight to see me from the plane. When i put Ireland and Scotland together like that i was just trying to point out my only two intrests in the countries across the Atlantic. If i ever do make it over there i'll be sure to look you up. smile

Well I haven't traveled much but the best place i have been is to the Blue Ridge Mnts in Tennessee. The peace and tranquil mountain scenery makes being part of this world a little better with each visit. One day i hope to get over to Montana and up to the Pennsylvania countryside and over to Ireland/Scotland because i understand these places to be very picturesque with beautiful scenery and wildlife.

Hey Topdown thats really cool to see part of my hometown on a map like that. I'm glad i took a part in this.

Pix i found some Dunlop nylon pics with the raised grip in there i really like. You have to throw it down to get it out of your fingers. I will be getting a few more of those to use along with my tortex pics.

I'm in Adrian,Ga which could be missed if you blink while passing through and not far from Soperton, Ga which is know as the Million Pines City. I'm also not too far from Macon, Ga which has the Georgia music hall of fame.

Hi MeKidsMom,

Try this link for the Agiles, but remember you can't hold this one in your hands first, thats the only bad thing.

http://rondomusic.com/

Also you can get a nice little pratice amp for around $100.00 a line 6 Spider 3 amp has lots of effects for a small amp with lots of distortion or a good clean sound.

Cam

I've bought several guitars from Rondo. His service is second to none. If you don't like it return it with no questions asked. No hassle. I own Agile, SX and Valencias. Agile is his premiere brand and the AL series are Les Paul Clones. I have an AL2500 that plays as well as a Gibson and feels much better than any Epiphone Les Paul I've tried. I also have a SX strat copy which feels as good if not better than a Mexi Stratocaster. Cameron's right, excellent stuff. I can't say enough

Geo and Cam i'm glad you both commented about Rondo and the Agiles. I've been looking at an Al 2500 and couldn't make up my mind. Now that i know of two real people that have them and are pleased it will definately be my next buy if my wife doesn't surprise me with it for Christmas. I've hinted around for one since October. MKM I think your hubby would love the Agile. It would make a great hard rock/metal guitar i'm sure and they have wide neck models that are a little easier to play when you're accustomed to playing acoustics like i am.

Hey Daddycool i can relate to this one pretty good. I like it alot. Good Job !!

Zurf if you've found a Tacoma in any model for $500 it would be the deal of your life. I just tried one a couple weeks ago and i thought it was nice but it's not for me. Anyways it was on sale for $950 in the shop that I frequent which is usually a good deal spot. As for the 12 strings I would stay away from the lower end brands because they don't hold up very well and you will spend more time keeping it tune than playing it.

Happy Anniversary Pix on both the marriage to your guitar and to the wife. I hope you have many more with both of them.

I like the bare look of an acoustic but i do have an older cheap guitar that i took liberties with and added my own art work. I painted outlines of wingflames surrounding the outer edges of the top and it looks pretty good. I will try and post pics of it one day when i can I'm usually at work when i'm on here. You don't have to settle for ordinary but i would'nt mess up a high quality guitar with too much art or decoration.

Welcome back Pastor you've been missed. I agree with the others that more friendly communion with each other is a good thing and i'm glad i joined this forum for just that. I just wish i had more to offer the kind people here on chordie. It's great that music can help bring so many people together from all aspects of life from all over the world.

I've been through alot of different strings and have found Ernie Ball coated phosphor bronze to sound the best. What kind are you using now? Sometimes it's more than just the strings that need to be changes to mellow out a guitar. You might be interested in changinfg the bridge pins from plastic to wood. That will mellow out the tone for sure.

I'm with Southpaw on this one. I understand that Taylor resupplies thier woods and only harvests dead fallen trees. I seems that Gibson would do the same. It's good to do this but i think the law enforcment has bigger things to worry with.

Congrats Cam on the new guitar i hope you enjoy it for a long time. I tried one like it a few weeks ago and fell in love with it. Unfortunatly i will have to wait til next year for it. I have a loving and supportive wife also but she has to have a new laptop this year. I need to win the lotto with Zurf. Just too many wants and not enough gots for me.

Hey Pix that's a good tool to have. Alot of players can use a chart like this for to keep us in the right key while playing chord progressions. You can use it to transpose with also. Thanks

The ultimate sad love gone wrong song is whiskey lullaby by Brad Paisley/Allison Krauss.

I agree with the happy songs though.

I agree with the Yamaha Keyboards and i'll suggest Pearl Drums and Fender electrics and Martin acoustics.
