that's what it was to me anyway, but i least i can play it fluently (and better than my guitar teacher) now smile

There's loads of Mason Williams songs you could do, like his version of Greensleeves, Flamenco Lingo...

And I know this is off topic and irrelevant, but my Great Uncle is good friends with him, and owns one of his pianos tongue

You deserve a high 5. smile

5. KT Tunstall

there u go smile what crappy role models i have lol

so your grandad is MR Mick Jagger and you call Ronnie your uncle as in a close family friend? What about keef? do you not count him as another uncle?
and Noel? He is heavily influenced by Lennon so are you not influenced actually by lennon and not noel?

I cant remember if I replied to this thread or not,
but my infulences right now are Roger waters, Syd Barrett, Eric Bogle, John Prine,

NO my Granddad isn't famous (or Mick Jagger) he's called Mick Platt but he plays guitar and he's one of my influences. And my Uncle Ron is called Ron Geesin and he's kinda semi-famous but I doubt you know who he is. Look him up on wikipedia or something. I'm not related to the rest, which is a shame. sad

I didn't mention Eric Clapton as an influence either, how could I forget him hmm And NO I'm not a relative of him either. But I am related to Pete who won BigBrother a few years back tongue

Hi paranormal - Go ahead and put it on YouTube - the process of recording something and putting out there for all to see & hear is good for the soul.  Putting it up and seeing what happens is way more fun than just thinking about it.  James

right now i would usually disagree and make a clever, negative and obnoxious comment, but i just can't find a fault or reason to bother to make one. hmm

good job James smile

Well I've finnished playing about with with Ain't Talkin' Bout Love Solo Acoustic and I've put it on power tab and (I don't like bragging but) I'm very pleased with it.

I might put it on YouTube or I might spare you the pain of having to listen. Maybe we should have a vote?

Mason Williams!

He's a great musician and a personal friend of my great uncle's tongue
