This should help you out -  http://www.e-chords.com/tab.asp?idMusic … amp;tipo=T
The chords are available here on CHORDIE. I personally do this song in a " up-tempo-country swing "

Hey " Torquil "
Have you tried going into your closest "Music Store " that sells guitars. If you talk to the people who work there or better yet the " hands on owner " if possible and tell them the price range that you can afford most places will go out of their way to accomadate your needs. They even usually have a few nicks and small scratches gems put away some where that you can deal on. These guys will get you going not for the price of the guitar this time , but knowing that once you get into it a little bit you need strings, a case etc  and probably a better guitar down the road.  They know that once YOU get the guitar playing bug that they have a repeat customer for life.
GOOD-LUCK

I caught the businness end of a fender bass right in the chops, in a bar trying to climb up on stage to get at the piano player who was hustling my girlfriend. Does that count.

Just a suggestion, if I am not sure of a songs rythm structure I find the best way of catching it is to actually play along with a recording of the song until I find the feel or groove of the song.

Hell-O Chordie People'
I'm looking for a list of songs that are done in Drop D tuning.
I am told that Nirvana has quite a few, but I am a 53 yr. old folk'n'country story teller, of mediocar guitar talents,  looking for something a little more in my genre. I have a bottem-end growlly voice that fits the sound of Drop D. Any-body with any contributions out there?
THANKS JOHNNY V.

How would I, or should I say, can I find out through you if a song book published today by a fellow named "Mike Cox" is the same fellow from my home town of Cornwall Ontario, Canada that I knew from 3-4 life times ago or give or take a hundred years ago.
thanks

Does any body out there remember an old song by Jim Stafford (the Spiders and Snakes guy) that is a narritive type song, that begins with a line about a Witch named Haddie that " lives back in the swamp where the strange green reptiles crawel. Snakes hang thick from the cypress trees like sausage on a smoke house wall " The song goes on to tell how the town folk are saved from the " fever " by drinking Haddie's Brew. The last line is something about a rock that says  " Don't Come Lookin' Again "
Can anybody help me with this one? Chords-Lyrics

Hell-o Chordie People!!
Does any-one out there have the chords and lyrics to a Johnny Reid song called a" A Woman Like You " I have been all over the place and can't find neither.
I think it is fairly new song, and have only heard it a couple of times, and it's not like a no-talent hack like me can just pull it out of the wind like some of you more talented Gents. Thanks for your responces in advance.
