Hi there girlie, I'm one too, albeit a little older than you, 41, seems there are plenty of us on this site, which is great. The reason I call myself boxer is because it was the first song I learnt to play, it kinda makes me sound like a blokee, but hey nevermind..........bye for now

I have been on his site every day for the last couple of weeks, he is a great teacher, have learnt loads off him, and gives it all for free, brilliant, and by the way he taught Katie Melua all she knows.

It's great finding out where everyone is from, but what is the ratio of men to women, or lads to lasses on this site. I'm a girlie, a bit older than that actually, I am 41, and started playing about 18 months ago. Am completely addicted. I only know one other female player, 99% of my guitarist maties are male......mmmmmmm. Be interesting to find out ...........

Hi I am tying to learn a song, with mostly easy chords, E A D, but there is a F#m in it and I can't play it for my life, does anyone know a similar sounding chord that is easier to play. The song is This Is My Rebel Song by Sinead O Connor.
