Hi, Lieven
Good song, very personal! Good to know you're still around after your recent setbacks... I had the gastric reflux a couple of times and it took me about 3 days to eat my breakfast!
And it's a great song to help nail that elusive B7 chord!
Keep on rockin'
Bonedaddy
She's lovely but way out of my league!
Just for the record, I liked it too! A5?
Maybe 'Jesus Of Suburbia' by Green Day - It's great kick ass rock n roll!
Hi Guys
Keep it simple - what are you trying to convey? Is it an homage to her beauty? Then you're on a winner as beauty rhymes with cutie and there's idea one!
Are you trying to tell her - oops or him how you feel when they are near? Then you're on a winner as near rhymes with clear and beauty rhymes with cutie and there's idea two!
Just go with what feels right, use humour, tempo and of course rhymes and they will fall at your feet. Or laugh.
Good luck!

Ok, here comes the feedback!
been to the Stereophonics artist page and logged in ok, graphics are all nice, very comprehensive. Some of the songs don't appear to have been found by chordie as they have slight differences in spelling or have extra bits in the title such as (live acoustic) for example.
I 'added' a couple of songs by going to the external website (ultimate guitar.com) copying and pasting the link to the relevant box on the editor page. I did get a message to say that i had submitted a link with an error but after my pc crashed (fatally), I formatted and set my pc back up and now the link appears active.
All in all, it seems fairly easy to figure out and looks great! The track/album lists are extremely comprehensive (maybe a little too comprehensive!) but look forward to seeing more pages like it!
Cheers,
Bonedaddy
Hi, Per
count me in, I'm intrigued!
Bonedaddy
Paul Simon, Michelle Shocked, Dave Gilmour, Bob Dylan, Silly Wizard, John Cougar, David Bowie...
There was a story last week in the local free paper about dick appleton and his (and I quote) precious martin guitar doing a gig somewhere. Locally.
If that makes any sense
Hmmm Bob Dylan or the Byrds!
Try
In the day we sweat it out on the streets of a runaway american dream
At night we ride through the mansions of glory in suicide machines
etc, what a great set of lyrics!
also see '4th July, Asbury Park', Johnny 99, The River, Blinded by the Light...
How about
'Oh Well' by Fleetwood Mac
'Mannish Boy' by Muddy Waters (and full tribute to Jeff Healey's 'Hoochie Coochie Man' cover from the Roadhouse soundtrack
Was 'It's a long way to the top' by AC/DC an actual song or was that a dream? I think it had a great riff whatever!!!
Wouldn't it be great if you could get (for instance) people like Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Geoff Lynne and Bonedaddy all together to kitchen jam...
Oh, well it nearly happened
no probs, knock yourself out... not literally of course!
How about
Johnny and the Self Abusers (Changed to Simple Minds)
Buzzcocks
Nipple Erectors
Pogue Mahone (gaelic for kiss my bottom, later changed to The Pogues)
Larry Lurex (Freddie Mercury in a previous incarnation)
Virgin Prunes
And as an extension, the weirdest track name I can bring to mind;
Pink Floyd's Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict
Anyone listened to 'Stan' by Eminem? Ooops, Eminem ft Dido!
Bad language galore but a *&!^%ng great rap song!
And I don't even like rap
God, if I was stuck in a maze all day with mice, I'd wanna be last man standing too - can you imagine the embarrassment if the mouse killed you?
I think Radiohead's excellent 'Street Spirit (Fade Out)' is just a picked Am
I believe this may be of some limited help:
This week - again, no order:
Springsteen
Stereophonics
Pink Floyd
Jeff Healey Band (RIP)
David Bowie
now I'm depressed... If you check back on one of the top 5 guitarists threads, Jeff Healey was on mine... just above me!
RIP Jeff Healey
split enz only had a couple of hits in the UK, they were much more succesful as Crowded House... I should know, I bought Woodface
aha, you thought we didn't know that split enz and crowded house are more or less the same band!!!
I love metallica's video for "one" it is superb.
but does it have women in various states of undress, fighting with food, making out etc?
BTW just saw the Soldier on youtube - bloody strong stuff, well done you mandolin hero!!!
I believe that the mole is called Lemmy and the big lump hanging off it just grew there!
