And then there is the Concord Blue Devil's Drum Line.

These guys are, quite literally, the best in the world at what they do.

And his/their name was......???? ( remember the initial question?)
The worlds' best best drummer was that group of 50 bazillion people... hmmmm... interesting indeed......

In this posters' opinion jerome.oneil needs to begin a new topic.

There is a slight difference in "drummer" and "drumming group".

But I'm sure jerome.oneil already is aware of this..........

How could I forget about stewart copeland! ever heard of oysterhead?

YEP !!!! they'd probably been a lot more successful and sold out more venues if they had jerome.oneils' total approval....

Jody Wayne and daddycool,

That was really nice of you guys to comment on All1Songs' post. The two of you (Jody Wayne and daddycool) always put some quality stuff here on Chordie and are always quick to thank those who comment on your efforts. My hat's off to you both.

I love messing with golfers. I have a FOX40 ocean lifeguarding whistle ( the same kind NFL referees use) that I keep in my truck. I lay on the horn and blow the dookie outta my whistle when I see a golfer in their backswing. It's the highlight of my day !!!!!

Thought about getting a tattoo or two several times throughout my journeys here and there. Opted for the pre-paid college tuition route for the kids instead. Imagined it might be a tad bit better investment.....  Nowadays the freakish person is the one that doesn't have a tattoo!!! hahaha.. To each their own though.

Roger,

Sincere condolences to you my overseas buddy. I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. As always, when life gets crappy and seems unfair, turn to the one thing that never fails in the healing process; MUSIC!!!

Howdy Chordians,

This is my official see-ya-later to all of you fine folks here on Chordie. I want you all to know that your friendship and/or correspondence has been amazing and unforgettable! I'll be back soon, hopefully, but right now I've got too much on my plate to give Chordie the fair amount of time needed to maintain the excellence needed and expected here at the finest, most awesomest site on the garsh-dang internet!!! I'm on facebook for any of you who'd like to join me there( i.e. gig schedule!!!,photos,videos,etc...)

I must leave with this tiny bit of advice to any of those who might give a terd as to what I have to say. The computer and all of its' resources can make the average, everyday, sittin' at home playin' for only themselves, bull-crapper seem somewhat knowledgeable in many areas of music instruction. There are tons of musical terms that can look very impressive when typed out in a paragraph, and some folks are very efficient in cutting and pasting this and that and that and this to glorify their self imposed greatness. Long story short, bottom line fact is this; There is no better way to learn music than sitting in front of, face to face, with a reputable musician that has payed his/her dues. Take a jolt down to your local music store and invest in a paid, professional instructor.***( I mean no disrespect to those who are financially secure and offer their services for free, huge props to you all !!!!)*** There is a reason these folks have the jobs doin' what they do; they're good, they're established, respected and proven. Sorry to rain on the parade of other instructors who offer their services for free but there is no substitue for one on one, eye to eye interaction between instructor and student!! For real!!!

Support your local live music and support your local musicians, PLEASE !!!!!

PEACE and GUITARS,

Thanks for all your kind words and valuable advice from you parenting veterans out there. We all had a great nights sleep. Evan and I came home last night while Rosetta and Chaz stayed in the hospital. They wanna keep them for 48 hours just to be on the safe side. But WOW ! what a day ! You folks on Chordie are darn good people.

Haha, noted Jeff on the Taylor. Evan, our 4 year old is a righty and literally played guitar before he could walk. He would crawl over to my practice guitar, pull himself up, and strum away !!! I tried and tried to get him to play lefty but I honestly think the way one plays is inate. I began as a righty, still play right handed in my dreams, but some thing are beyond our control. I really wanted Evan to play left handed mainly to save ourselves a little money on guitars! hahaha.  Evan has uke, 4 "toy"( 1/2 and 3/4 size) acoustic guitars, and a mini-strat (they're all rightys). I hope he's willing to share when Chaz is strong enough to hold a guitar( if he chooses to play guitar).

Thanks Jeff, talk to you soon. Do you facebook? If so can we be friends?

Hello Chordians,

Today, April 8, 2010, at 1:33pm, my lovely wife delivered a beautiful 8lb 10oz baby boy!        ( CHAZ) We haven't decided on a middle name as of yet but we've narrowed it down these 4;  Taylor, Dragon, Hendrix, or Gibson. If anyone would like to offer an opinion/vote on the 4 aforementioned names I'd appreciate your input. I am so proud of my wife ! She is my hero.

What's extra cool about our son beeing born on this particular day is that my Baby Sister (40) and my Grandmother (90) also share this birthdate. Our 4 year old son insists on calling his brand new baby brother "Van Mudpuddle". A few weeks ago we went to " Build-a-Bear", purchased a stuffed, cool, little panda bear and named Chazs' little buddy "Van Mudpuddle". Hopefully this'll hold the little guy over for a bit until he gets used to calling little brudda' " Chaz".

Another cool little benefit from the day was I had a pleasant little tooth extraction scheduled this morning at 9:30am that I had to postpone! DANG !

My time now is gonna be seriously limited on the computer but I'll drop in from time to time and get my Chordie fix from the coolest, bestest, most awesomest site on the 'net. I cherish the interaction and friendship from you fines folks here at Chordie. Keep on making music, music is the best !

wlbaye & mekidsmom,

Excellent job to both of you. You each incorporate your own personal styles' and a "laid back"  vibe to this cool little tune.  And you're both talented musicians whose friendly, humble, positive characteristics shine through in your performing. Is there talk of the two of you pooling your talents together ? ( great suggestion Old Doll..)

Hang in there Lieven. You'll most likely need to make a few minor adjustments after your surgery. Just see what you need to do afterwards and do it. You're gonna be fine, heck fire, you might even be tons better !

I think this is what you're looking for;

Allman Brothers Band is this posters favourite while out on the open road. The songs are generally long and hypnotic, both features make a long drive seem short. When I get close to my desired destination I'll throw in some AC/DC and crank it to the moon!!!
