Hi Zurf, A while back you commented on a post about learning guitar and said that to catch on to something one would have to do it 1000 times over, Well that works, I started on barre chords and repetiveness is the key, for me anyway. After a few days of studying and repeting
the barre chords are comming along just fine. Open chords to barre chords are comming very easy to me, even that evil B. So a big thank
you from me.

Hi Amy, having muscian friends is a great teaching resource for me. Jon and I usually pick up the guitars when ever we meet. We have a kitchen jam once a month with good eats and treats and of course the music. I'm like a kid in a candy store and can't wait for the next one.

I'm a carpenter for a swimming pool company building pump houses, decks and fences in the summer months, in the winter I crackfill and
do interior painting which keeps me busy. I also build kitchen hutches and dry sinks as a hobby. Like the old Merle Haggard song "Working
Man Blues" I got em.

hi GSE , i'm still hanging around. guitar playing improved with lots of practice and now starting to grasp barre chords, we still jam in our big kitchen once a month which is a real blast and learning time. purchased a new washburn acoustic that has great fretboard action and really opened up barre chords for me, other than that doing well and waiting for spring to arrive.

hope your doing well and take care.    badeye    cool

I'm talking about favorite of "ALL TIME". Songs that have stuck with you for as long as you can remember. Songs that take you right back to the place you first heard them. Songs that still give you goose bumps when you hear them today.
