A singer cannot alter his/her vocal range, a musician can very easily change key so:

The golden rule is the music is played in the key that the singer finds comfortable.

Sorry to hear this, my friend, I am praying and wishing that you (or the medics) can find an answer for you. I know how distressed I would be in your situation.

Dino, you cannot believe all that is put in advertisments, if so I would have the physique and looks of Adonis and the strength of Hercules instead of being the wrinkled old prune that I see in the mirror lol.

welcome too the site bassnbrew, you might try www.chordpickout.com,they have an add here at chordie. Good sounding group and song.

Hi Dino, you seem very happy with this product so will you please use it to give bassnbrew the chords.

I tried it a while ago and found it to be inaccurate so I would like the latest results to see if it has been improved. (Having used it for the trial period I cannot try it again without buying it, so I look forward to the results from someong who is using it).

First and most importantly, the truss rod adjustment on the neck is to ensure that the fretboard is straight and true ONLY. It is not for trying to make it easier to play or eliminating buzzes. So the first thing to do is to look along the fret board, if there is any bow or hollow  then adjust it to be straight. (I am gussing that you may have already done this).

If the buzzing disappears with the capo on the 1st fret it indicates that the first fret is a little too high and needs crowning but this is not really a job to take on if you have no experience, a luthier will quickly tell you if it is needed and  give you an estimate on the cost.

Not a very good recommendation for the repairer. The damage should have been noticed and repaired before, or pointed out to you, when you collected it.

Many years ago I was Service Manager at a Ford main dealer and a new Cortina that had been brought in for it's 6 week service slipped off the ramp and damaged its front wing (damaged!!! it was destroyed smile). When the owner collected his car that evening and I confessed to him the mishap that had befallen his pride and joy he was none to happy. That is, until I showed him his car, I'd had the wing replaced, repainted, and the striping renewed. He said he would not have know without being told. One happy customer who kept returning regularly.

I would go into the local music stores and try the ones that were in my price range. The name on it means nothing as one for you will just feel and sound absolutely right.

Thanks for the recording Jeff,

Because of the way it shows I was rushing the chord changes on those last two lines. (Tenho a cabeça de burro) lol

The quality of the recording was absolutely fine, by the way, but you would have to compress it to send the full song and a compressed recording is plenty good enough for playback on a PC's sound system. Thank you again.

That explains it. I only keep an English and a Portuguese dictionary by my PC............... don't tell me I am going to have to get a German one as well lol.

It is far, far better being able to hear a song than to just play it from the lyrics and chords. From reading, I did not realise it was a 12 bar in E but it was obvious as soon as I started listening to it.

It makes a big difference being able to hear how a song is intended to be performed.

Thank you and well done.

I played it through and, unusually for me, I was able to contunue with the parts that had no chords. I liked the song but it probably would not go down to well at an A.A. meeting but anywhere else it would be fine.

Thanks Jerome. When will be hearing a recoring of it smile?

This one plays well Jeff. However I am at a loss to understand what a "tiafun" is sad.

Hi Jeff,

Talking to the TV is a bit like talking to the idiots that do something stupid when we are driving. It gives a lot of satifaction but is really rather pointless smile. I do like the idea behind the song.

As usual I played it through but I struggled a little with the timing in the last two lines of the verses so I would like to hear you singing it, if you are able to get a recording done.
