yeah , i think the movie you saw was the Clint Eastwood one. Invictus stared Matt Damon.
It was about the world cup final, told from the South Africian viewpoint.
New Zealand  say they where poisioned before the final, this was not mentioned in the movie
as it was about Nelson Mandela & South Africian rugby.
interesting to see so many NZ players throwing up on the field.

I guess i`m not the only one who has paid for the same recording many times over.
I`ve got Beatles songs in vinyl, tape,cd, & now mp3, not bad for the hard done by record companies.

Gidday.

Yeah finished my cajon cost $40 to make,  timber, screws & paint.  another $10 when i add a snare.

this is great fun   thinking of adding a pedal for the kick drum so i can play along with guitar.

On u tube some amazing players, also lot of beginners having a ball.

gidday.

I see the recording industry is complaining again about free downloaded music, they say they are being ripped off.

There are many artists from the 50`s & 60`s that would say the same happened to them(getting ripped off by the record co`s )

funny,  what comes round go`s round

My friends kid got a guitar for xmas,i said i`d show them some chords ect.
as i`m mid fifties  needless to say i`m not onto it when it comes to current chart stuff.
any easy well known songs you can recommend?I could go the folk song way,but i really want to
grab this kids attention enough to get her going  to take it further.

I`ve got a roland cube 80  brilliant for rockabilly slap

great versatile amp  i`ve had it for 2 yrs still finding new settings eg swamp rock/ mersey beat/ surf/metal stack ect ect ect

Good on her she`s really getting into it.
i don`t knock anyones music cause it`s all better than me.
the exception to this is, if the person is getting paid then i think i can make a critique

what do u think?

Gidday,
New years resolution is to try to learn to sing!
I enjoy playing guitar But my singing is terrible.
i don`t want to be great, just not bad.
Is learning to singalong  in tune very hard?

Gidday

last night i saw The Moody Blues in concert.
I noticed Justin Hayward  playing guitar with his thumb over the top( on the bass strings.)
What`s that about??

sounds like Indesisive would be a good name

The searchers are still going  they must be the hardest working band in the world .playing several times a week.50 weeks a year!

Can any other band claim this?
