Who do you call?
Is it a band in the show or
The minister in the stole

Religion is an easy high,
a drug with minimal cost
The more supposed sin
The more the feeling is lost.

Trying to find your place,
No longer living under grace
Not feeling you can get it
In the traditional place

Thirty pieces of silver
Won’t get you into heaven
Neither will a ten piece band
As you reach up waving your hands.

Ministers’ Standing at the pulpit
words about God that sting
You know you are a culprit
Now your head spins as they ring

The choices you made will follow you
That traveling preacher knows it too
Don’t try to tilt the scale
For the ratio of win or fail.

Religion is an easy high,
a drug with minimal cost
The more supposed sin
The more the feeling is lost.

Who do you call
When your loved one is ready to go?
Is it the band in the show or
The minister in the stole

Jesus train (not your first vision)
1-10-15 Scott Sailer

Wild child running with the pack,

Running hard, never looking back

Living life free as can be

All the sudden he thinks he has seen,

He is jumping on the Jesus train,

Little thoughts inside his brain

He’s jumping on the Jesus train.

Everybody talking ‘bout how blessed they are

Everybody ‘gotta be a super star.

They think it’s the easy way

And think you want to hear it near and far

They think they are reaching for heaven,

Trying to touch the stars

Reaching for heaven,

Jumping on the Jesus train

Looking for anything to explain

Can you feel the pain?

People cashing out

they think the fount the rout

They are jumping on the Jesus train,

Little thoughts inside their brain

They are jumping on the Jesus train.

They are crying out,

Afraid to stand on their own,

So they buy a ticket and share the pain

looking for answers on the Jesus train.

I’m not saying I don’t believe in God.

For my independent thoughts

You might think I’m odd,

Just not a rider on your Jesus train.

So when your telling everybody

how blessed you are,

Next time,  Why not just smile

An buy the next round at the bar.

Have you guys heard this??  I have seen a few blurbs about it.  Iwonder if they are just going to stick to online and kill brick and morter? or just keep Musicians frind, since they are both owned by the same holding company.

I think sound cloud is your best site, or you can put them on a you tube account.  if you just make a audio with a slide show or leave one pic up the whole time its a way to post them.

Or you can start a free dropbox account and put them in the public share folder and just send out the links or post them to your FB page if you have one.

OH that is because the effects tree is actually IN STORE, just go there and play away. and most the techs know a thing or two about most of them.

Boss are great, so are the VOX and if your budget is tighter,, you have Digitech, really tight? Berhinger. the Berhinger stuff is German design knock offs made in Japan,, but they are great stuff, both my amps are made by them (one is a Bugera -the tube line)
so here are the links

I have a older Digitech RP250 and love it because I can plug it into a lpa top and its endless what you can do from there,, yes a slight learning curve, but hop that and your having a great time.

Yes you can spend a lot on pedals(stomp's) but im a pedal freak and love the way they aall look LOLOL dont have a lot but still love them.  if you got time to kill sitting in a store and playing around with them is the best thing.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/effects  pull up a chair and a drink and start looking LOLOL  Guitar center has an effects tree and you can go and test all the stuff and look at the used consider as they have tons of trade in stuff.  Ill take a pic of my stuff and the retracting pedal bd I made. you may want to think about that set up if you not lugging g your stuff around.

Cheers!~

Oh there was a bass in there  the singer plays it.  not bad though for a 16 yr old kid with a dog pile tape recorder at t a pick-nick.  Chris, the drummer, as I said is very big in world music, and has sessioned for Sting also.  His band is a fusion jazz band ,, but let me tell you,,, when he rocks,,  he is a mad thrash metronome of a player.  My dad would hire him to plays Timpani drums for special music services at church.

OH and I wish I had been in that band LOLOL in the pic above, L to R  Chris Wabish, Chuck Hoover (who taught me how to play) and Dave Nelesnick (creator of the band)

one more of chris  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdmoUpEqIvc

how did it go for you?  I have not touched it in IDK how long. after it was trying to get me to play Blitzkrieg bop with out power chords.  I just could not use the one note versions of songs.  the arcade was ok but one you got up in levels the LAG was killing me.

wast of my money IMO. got fed up with it and went back to Youtube.   Great potential,, but very lacking in application i think.  yet i see Marty Schwartz and Pappastach geting down on it.  So maybe i need to learn its tricks.  Now I have no tried bass on it yet,, how is that?

My buddy had an old Silvertone that was shaped like a Fender Jaguar. The turtle shell pick guard had no screws in the bottom side, he used  it in his punk band, pulling the guard up and in front of the amp, man could that thing feedback from the reverse side of the guard! He also put an Ibanez clear sticker over the Silver and he had the one and only IBANEZRTONE!. IT WAS A GREAT SOUNDING GUITAR FOR PUNK!

Too bad that Pete Townsend didn't have the B9 when The Who was playing "Won't Get Fooled Again"--they wouldn't have needed a tape recording of the organ.

they would still need a second guitarist since the loop station was not invented either,, just an old echoplex LOLOL

that keybd track was murder on the sound guy.  I saw an interview with him aobut it.

Honestly if you are looking for something to cut through on leads,,, You really should check out some Ibanez guitars.  if its the tele style body you are after then my I suggest
http://www.guitarfetish.com/XV-825-Soli … c_436.html
http://www.guitarfetish.com/XV-835-Flam … c_222.html
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ESP-LTD-TE-212- … 3cef6a1faa
Russell and I can vouch for the quality and sound from this company.

you also could go with the Tele and have H / S and have a coil tap  on the H to split it from dbl to single.

IF you can afford it, maybe this is what you are looking for.

I'd also be interested to know if any Chordians have played one. A particular point of interest is the slightly wider nut (1.75") on both their Angelus and Tonare Grand private stock models. Apart from Guild, I don't know many other manufacturers who make guitars for people with larger hands. Here's a sound clip from the PRS site featuring their SE Angelus Standard:

http://www.prsguitars.com/seangelusstandard/

VERY responsive to the tapping & hammering techniques being used by the amazing Todd Bauchspies, and it has a detailed rich voice.

I have a feeling that if we put a 40 dollar harmony  in that guys hands he could make it sound great also
Heck most times I hand my guitar to anyone and its gonna sound better than when I have been abusing it for 30 yrs!
