I was watching a really old movie and the narrator said - "he walked away and she let him go"
I grabbed my notebook and wrote that down and just kept writing - this is what I came up with....
CG That was a very, very nice song!!!
Nice song Neo - sounds good.
I had not heard that song , although I have heard Dylan's and Neil Young's songs of the same title.
Thanks for sharing it.
Jim
(and a great smile or two! )
It looks and sounds pretty good in the video ( the player looks real good!:) )
a lot of the reviews on different sites are not so good on the tonewood amp.
Most said the batteries wear out fast.
It sells from 200 to 290 dollars -
probably pretty cool for beach player or busker (although several of the reviews said it wasn't loud enough for busking)
I'd like to have one if I was a serious musician I think
Thanks for sharing

I loved the Moody blues have several of their albums. Thanks for bringing back some great memories of a terrific group.
I would just like to say that some people are busy and have to step away sometimes, some have some issues to deal with, some go on vacation, some have tech issues and can't get on.some just need a break.
I have experienced all of these at some point. I am not sure about what Zurf wrote about over moderation, as I have not had any issues personally with that.
I have seen an outpouring of compassion and care to members when needed - which is awesome.
Chordie is a really great site in my humble opinion. Thank you to all of the people here - I really appreciate you !
Jim
here is a link to my version on SC. My playing and singing is awful but I think it' could be a pretty good song

your welcome Phill and Thank you!
Thanks Russell
Looking forward to some new performance from you

Russell
Good luck with the guitar, I hope all goes well for you.
I was wondering since you are an accomplished guitarist with a lot of experience..... what are the major differences between a Gibson and an Epiphone Les Paul model ?
Also wondering what's the difference between Guitar Center and Sweetwater - they always seem to have the same prices ?
Thanks
Jim
Thanks Jets and TF
I appreciate the honesty - it truly helps someone like me that struggles with the music part ( that sounds strange seeing that this a musical forum named Chordie! )
I went back and changed the chords and a few lyrics ( as you can see above.)
I went to a different progression and modified it to fit.
It's easier to play and sing.
Thanks again for your help this version really works for me.

Good companies keep good customers!
You are light years ahead of me musically, I hope to hear our production son.
Jim
Very nice Jeff - some great observations and insight.
I look forward to your renditionsoon.
Jim
Woke up this morning - and had this idea in my head about when people meet the crossroad - and have to decide whether or not to fall in love again.
I gave it a whirl ! Hope it works for ya
Scott,
This my go at it. Changed a bit of your lyrics and added chorus.
Hope it suits you ok
If you don't like it I will remove it.
Jim
$290 new - it better be good. The you tube demo I watched on it was amazing.
If I could sing - I'd get one!
You Dad did you right my friend!! Enjoy
Excellent !! Love the accent-- makes feel like I'm in an old English bar or something and you are on stage singing!
Yes
Too bad - too young

I agree with Phill and CG - great little poem. It contains a lot of imagery and self-reflection.
I think a great title would come from the line " Maybe Tomorrow",
If done in your genre, it would suit it like a metal amalgam perfectly!
This poem is like a seeing glass into your mind set. Hope you get out of the floccinaucinihilipilification
[flok-suh-naw-suh-nahy-hil-uh-pil-uh-fi-key-shuhn] funk soon as you have so much to offer.
I was thinking yesterday that you should get one of those blank journal books and put one of your songs / poems- one each - on a page - then when you get to the last page and fill it - close the book and move on - just a way of setting a goal and maybe finding a path to healing.
Jim
Congrats Buddy !!
Sounds amazing!
If you post that you have a bread machine next to it ----- I 'm gonna think Joey 3x is living on West coast !
