Speaking of apples, has any of you tried the new variety in the last few years called Honey Crisp? now thats an apple... I live in the Annapolis Valley where the apple is king.

Credit when credit is due. Kudos to the Jets. Patriots D made Sanchez look like an NFL QB. I'm not sure if he's coming around or if the Pats D is just that bad. We'll see. As for the Jets going to the Super Bowl...the ought to concentrate on making the playoffs first. They won 9 games last year during the reguar season.
They've annointed themselves contenders...great defense but I'm not so sure I'd be running my mouth.
Pats defence was bad, I stoped watching in the fourth quarter, had enough. ahh there is always next week.
After watching pre game,and games before the pats and jets the wifey got after me that I was watching way too much football, she's probably right.

Every now and then I get a skunky beer, about 20 years ago I got one with a june bug in it, got turned off on that brand all together. I did take it back un-opened and was given a free dozen of my choice.

I hope your right about my 49ers, U heard on Sportscenter that as soon as the plane landed back in SF, he called a team meeting and was even calling names, so we'll see but they have Tuba's Saints on Monday night football, so I'm looking at 0 and two to start.

Found an old Hondo Hummingbird at a pawn shop for 50 dollars, it plays better than my two newer more costly

Thats Awesome, stay at it man, you can do it. I did it 4 years ago cold turkey, smoked 30 years,pack a day,and just up and quit. Many benifits to quitting cigrettes. Stay the course and find out. I'm pulling for ya.

I was installing a swimming pool in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, when the lady we were working for came out of the house in a panic and told us to come inside to watch what had happened on the tv, we witnessed the second plane and were horrified at the site. All day we listened to CBC radio about the accounts of the day. At lunch time we rode down to the public warf and were amazed to see the Cat Ferry fill up with people and set out for
Bar Harbour, Maine. The radio reports told us that all travel to the USA was suspended. That day was a very hard thing to understand and something I will never forget.

Yesterday the misses and our pup [big dog] spent the whole day at Cresent beach on the south shore of Nova Scotia. Long sandy beach, warm salt water, and big waves, what a blast. Haven't done that in twenty years, need to do it more for sure.

off to see one of the loudest bands i've ever seen,
April Wine at the Lawerencetown Ex, its outside thank goodness, got to see them a few years ago in the Aster Theather in Liverpool, nova scotia and the band stoped after two songs and earplugs were passed out to the first ten rows, they started up and i swear it was louder, we were in the balcony and you could see plaster fall off the ceiling. they sold out two nites and it was dubbed "rock the plaster off the aster" he he what fun....
