I like scantily claded young ladies

Finding those with a GPS requires a special feature.

Zurf, I think we need to work together and invent this special feature and we can call it the "G.P.S.S.C.Y.L.F." or The GPS Scantily Claded Young Lady Finder.

I'm thinking that once we get a prototype made we'll start raking in the mulah! cha-CHING!   smile

I don't need one. Being so young and talented the  S.C.Y.L.'s find me lol cool lol

I think it is very sad that someone who has been on Chordie for 6 years does not know that the songs are NOT hosted here. As a search engine, Chordie collects all the songs from other sites and displays them in an easy to read manner where altering instrument tuning and transposing is done at the touch of a button. If there are error then they are on the host site!! However there is a facility available on Chordie that any Member, even a Junior Member, can edit and correct the songs.

WRONG!!!   smile

I wrote to Per as soon as I saw your post and I am still awaiting a reply. I do not know if it is possible or how much work is involved in making this kind of change. When I hear something I will let you know immediately.

Roger

I have sent a message to Per, the site owner, to remind him about this problem.

Pleased to oblige, you have been a asset to Chordie offering advise and helping others. However I have to point out that it is not just my decision, we work as a team and do not make decisions about Chordie unilaterally. It was discussed by the rest of the Moderators and we all thought that you deserved it.

I agree with BGD above, however I found this some time ago. It works, and all my guitar necks have now been treated this way:

Glad I could help englenap. I thought that Ark's original explanation was OK but as there was still some confusion, well "a picture paints a thousand words" smile

If I had the money I would have a 60's Triton. A Norton Featherbed frame with a 650 Bonneville engine. A hybrid of the best frame and engine from that era.

As an aside Triumph are marketing the Bonneville again, the classic look but with bigger engines I believe.

When you click on an empty songbook, you will get this which is self explanatory:

However you are NOT able to delete 'My songbook (0)' at all.

I have created, written about and deleted this songbook this morning just to answer your query. If it is not working for you then I am afraid that the error must lie at your end.

Congratulations on your new Daytona. BTW - Did you know that every spring there is a bike rally in Daytona Beach, Florida. Coincidence? I think not!

One of the addition things I liked about the guitar was the name...... My last bike was a Triumph Daytona, 955cc triple, now that was a bike. Sadly the roads here are not good and Portuguese drivers are some of the worst in the world, so it had to go. This little YBR250 will get me around economically and I will not be tempted to try and get 180mph out of her smile.

My Fender is too valuable to leave at home as a caravan is so easy to break in. So I have just bought a lower end guitar to leave there. It is a Daytona GR0300CB in black. It came in with 'gold' fitting that were tarnished and the supplier agreed to a great discount so I decided to buy it. I hate 'gold fittings with a vengeance anyway so I replaced them with black ones. I re-worked the nut, saddle and truss rod, fitted a new set of D'Addario 11's and tried it at the Rock Choir last week. Two hour's playing with no cramps or sore fingers. I think I got it right smile.

Nothing! It is functioning fine and, if you are having problems, it is likely to be at your end. Most commonly it is the screen resolution set too high placing the control buttons off screen. Try reducing your screen resolution.

Please let us know if this is successful or if you need further assistance.

I must need new glasses Phill............ I read the topic and thought you had some wonderful news to share. I read it as 'Nappy July' (for our American friends, a 'nappy' is a 'diaper') so I thought you were announcing a newcomer to your family. Made me smile when I realised my error. smile

Happy July to one and all!!!

My 70's Melody 12er (as with every guitar I own or have ever owned) regularly has all the strings removed to clean and to oil the fretboard. Every guitar that is brought in the shop I work at for restringing also and I have never had a problem. It is just not possible to clean a guitar and nourish the fretboard properly without removing all the strings.

My take on it is that if a guitar is not constructed well enough to have all the strings removed it is only fit for the rubbish bin.

Hi BJ,

Wishing for a successful conclusion to your back problem, In the meantime the guitar is is great way to take your mind off it and to develop new skills.

Roger

A warm welcome is extended to Stacy, but please start your own thread and tell us a little about yourself, your guitars and your ability so we can welcome you properly and not cloud the issue with messages for Bluejeep. smile
