I love that game.  It's as much fun as I've ever had with a video game (Gears of War excepted).  We'll play Rock Band after rehearsal sometimes, just for kicks.

Hey Jerome ... do you have GOW II or just the first one?

A lot of artists hate the idea while many support the game as it opens people up to music and makes them want to learn how to play ... I'm all for it ... I bought it for my step-son and he loves it and is learning how to play guitar on his Ibanez I bought him ...

Usually when I play, my Les Paul is the first thing I pick up but for the past few weeks I've been playing my PRS SE ... the PRS I bought for my light, clean rock tones ... and the more I play it the more I like it specifically for that purpose ... the Les Paul isn't as good in that area IMO

Music and politics don't mix ... if they did there'd be acoustic jams on the front lawn of the White House  tongue

I've checked out a lot of these settings since I have a Spider 75 ... these are settings other than what are listed in the amp itself ... but they do have presets for genre's (60s, 70s, 80s, etc.)

I would say electric is definitely easier to play ... IMO, playing acoustic is great but can only take you so far ... an electric guitar opens up a whole new realm of playing as well ... I had the hardest time learning to work barre chords on an acoustic ... then one day I started trying them on my electric and it was easier ... I was able to get the form down and apply it to the acoustic and it helped greatly

Now when it comes to Tennis greats ... I still think, in her prime, NO one could touch Steffi Graf ... Fraulein Forehand would scare the heck out of opponents ... funny how she became beautiful AFTER she retired and married Andre Agassi ... but on a side not, Agassi and Sampras had some AMAZING tennis matches.

And it seems all the hot female tennis players come from Russia or former Eastern Bloc Countries ... maybe I should move there    tongue

I'm going with 'Zona ... I'm an Eagles fan and was ticked off once again by their performance in the title game ... same as always, play like crap for 3 quarters, dig yourself a whole, then come back to take the lead and then blow it in the last 7-8 minutes ... BUT I do like the 'Zona Cinderella story so I'm going with the Cards ... if they lose that's fine, the team deserved to experience the Super Bowl after the way they played in the post season

I admire your courage in openly admitting you're an Eagles fan....Kudos to you. Admitting it is the first step to recovery. How many more heartbreaking lossses can 1 fan base endure. I feel your pain.

You're not kidding geo ... the more shocking part is I USED to be a Cowboys fan back in the '70s/80's ... but once Jerry Jones bought the team, fired Tom Landry, sent Tony Dorsett packing it ticked me off and I hated them so I figured I grew up in Pa. I might as well root for the Eagles since Philly is 2 hours away

Maybe I should have stayed a Cowboys fan ... at least I would have celebrated a few titles instead of getting my heart ripped out by Donovan McNabbs's crappy play every NFC Title game

When I was in high school ('90) I had a girlfriend out in the country. I had to take some winding backcountry hilly road to get to her house and as soon as I would turn onto that road I would put in Joe Satriani "Flying in a blue dream". Flat out, Tires squealin, Gear jammin and slammin. That song was perfect. Everytime I hear that song I can completely envision that road every turn every hill every shift

AWESOME guitarist and an AWESOME song ... it's amazing how a song can make your remember something so clearly

Mine would be Sweet Child of Mine from Guns N' Roses ... sitting by a creek with friends around a camp fire and playing that song on the "boom box"

Classic Rock / Metal / Country ... you name it I play it

I've always loved listening to Bob Seger songs while driving long distances ... especially "Against the Wind", "Roll Me Away" and "Night Moves"

Why does the tune "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC keep running thru my head after I read that!

In the U.S. you have a lot of cops for a multitude of reasons ... first and foremost, you have town or city cops, county cops, then state cops ... it all depends on how the jurisdiction is laid out in the area you're in, that will determine how many cops are in a certain are ... another factor is the crime rate in the area ... from a cop stand point, we're trained to always have back-up or a "roll by" to make sure a fellow cop is alright ... the level of threat will determine how many cops are on the scene as well ... if the license plate is run and it shows an arrest warrant, they'll stack up the cops and you'll see them drawing down on a car ... if it's a traffic stop and the person is uncooperative, that'll get more cops on the scene as well

As far as never seeing them until your right "on top" of them, that's true ... in the military you have to be in plain sight, if your hidden and running radar and you stop someone, it's considered a form of entrapment ... but civilian cops don't have to worry about that since they are not under more strict guidance as military cops

George Strait sings about Thibodaux Louisiana in "Adilida ... awesome song"

I prefer "A Country Boy Can Survive"  smile

I tried out an Epiphone Les Paul Zak Wylde this weekend and absolutely fell in love with it ($699) ... who knew a Les Paul would sound great with EMG pick-ups on it ... I found my next axe

Ken

That would not be nice King, what you do is give him a screen test after all he wants to be heard. (a screen test is not puting on the seat belt on the suspect, speeding down the road and then stopping so you do not run over that imaginary animal that just darted out in front of you. In the U.S the units had metal screens to separate the front seat from the back seat. Now a days the most screens are plexiglass and do not have as much effect as the metal screen when the Adam Henry's face comes in contact).

Bootlegger.
