These seem to be headphones that I'd like and also not extremely expensive...145.00 Jerome have you used these for mixing? I'm just curious how these compare to the phones that completely surround the ear...Sorry I'm completely ignorant on this subject. I've found info on LOW IMPEDENCE headphones that seem to be popular in the field. Maybe you or other chordians will know if these are low impedance headphones. Here are some specs I found on these headphones. And thanks for the reply.
The E03 transmitter features Eight factory switchable channels, 300 ft. wireless operating range, Frequency Response of 100 Hz - 10KHz ± 3 dB and Signal to Noise Ratio of 60 dB. Any of E03 receivers can be used with EO3-T transmitor.
ooops, I forgot something,,,Currently using just a cheap pair of cans that you could pick up anywhere, like the ones you'd use in a portable. These do ok i guess, I'm just looking for something a little better.
I'd like to be able to get a better mix on our music without spending tons of money on studio monitors,,,I understand there quite expensive,,,,,Surely there is a headphone you could pick up for less money and still get a pretty good mix. I've heard peoples differences for using each i.e. monitors and headphones, and have looked at several websites that are pushing their product. I'm wondering if any chordians have any preferences to specific headphones to mix with and about how much they cost......thanx in advance for the help.
Hey Pix I don't think I'd be able to attend but thanks for the invite. I believe you've hit on a pretty good idea that might be fun,,,,some of best times I've ever had is going to bluegrass festival. The only thing about bluegrass festivals, in most cases, is the musicians only want to play bluegrass music. It would been fun to do something like this but invite all styles of music. It was always fun to walk around listening to different songs and if you found one that you like,, you could set in with whoever is playing and jam along.
What's up blindwillie, man I sure remember when I was just starting out learning to play,,,I assume you play the guitar,,,Keep on strummin your ax you'll get there. As to the versions, I've never posted a song with chords but I know sometimes the chords posted above the lyrics sometimes get shifted out of place, not sure what causes this but I see it all the time. Usually if your familiar with the tune your playing you should be able to find the groove. Just keep messing around with it and you'll get it. Also, you might want to try changing the key your playing in. Chordie makes this really easy with the Transpose Chords on the right hand side of the chordie page. Its a really cool feature so you can easily change the key into something you can play or sing. For example if the key is posted in E you can transpose up or down to F or G or D or C or etc...What I'm saying is, find one you can play all the chords in until you become a more experienced player. Anyway I hope this helps and have fun,,,after all thats the reason we all play music,,right...
