Clapton !!!!
He is deaf now !

My hearing is impeded - patrly an inherited thing as most of family has the same thing - but I certainly should have worn ear protection around all the power machinery I used in my shop over the years ( I do now - but it's a bit late! sad  )

I would appreciate it if my fellow chordians would  type a little louder in the future !  smile

That was interesting - good music - lyrics had several twists to them.

Good stuff - reminds me a bit of Genesis.

A question - why does the keyboard player have two keyboards - some bands have even more.  Are they in different keys of have different sounds or something?

That is really,really good !!
It reminds me of something that maybe Tears For Fears, Kraftwerk, Moody Blues or Eurythmics might play.  ( Give Annie Lenox a call to sing your lyrics!)  smile

WELL DONE CTECH !!!

Congratulations to you and your wife Joe !!  This is an awesome blessing.

When I first look at your post and saw NKD  I thought to myself - what the heck is the K for? I was trying to think of something associated with guitars and said to my self - I might s well check it out b/c the only thing I can think of is a new KID Day - and lo and behold I was right !!! smile

Wonderful times - I think, despite all the trials and tribulations, it really is the best time of my life - when my kids were living in my home.
I now enjoy my grand kids as well, but still miss those years and wish I could have a do over.
Here is a video   I put together on the song I posted earlier on Chordie.   https://youtu.be/LV_ZRlMnoFU

Congats again Joe !

Hahahaha

I was just trolling youtube for interesting songs....

These guys from Sydney, Australia have a guitar on the wall that is way cool.  They play the Uke (that has the bent neck as was discussed in another thread) , Mandolin, and one heck of a cool looking bass that I have never seen before.
The wall behind them has violins, banjo and another Mando.
Looks and sounds like they had a lot of fun playing this parody song - and of course the beer on the  shelf is an add-on. smile
I would've liked to played in that session.

Does anyone know what that bass is called ? I think he said it in the intro - but I can't catch the name.

CG Great find

This girl has unbelievable passion for the blues -it's like she is living and feeling  every note.  The fact that she is a left handed guitarist made it interesting-  as well as the great aesthetics - you' ll see what I mean when you watch it ! smile

The kid in the guitar shop - that is like a one person flash mob !  Good stuff brother - keep'em coming!!

Enjoy it !

Yes, I agree - very talented
That title still has me puzzled however - and on that "note"  - for all of you musicians - especially you CG ---
if  a musical piece has no lyrics - how does one come up with a title ?

Good music - thanks for sharing ?

Bill,
I made a change -  not exactly what you suggested ( i I think " isn't no"  would be a double negative or some thing like that )
and yeah that's kind of how it goes - along the lines of an Eagles song - that kinda country rock.

Thanks for the kind words.

Peatle
Thank you Peatle- yes, there is a lot of interpretation left to the individual in the setting of this song
Thanks for giving it a look.

TF
Thank you for your comment.
I'm not smart enough or talented enough to actually sit down and write a song, I totally rely on my emotions and how I think people would react.
It's why I love the Dylan's,  Van Zant's, Guy Clark's and Steve Earle's  -among many others-  they are all storytellers.
Especially since I know so little about music. Most of my lyrics would sound much different if someone who actually knows music used the right chords, strum patterns, tempo, etc...( that's about it for me - I don't know any other music terms):  )  was writing them . It's why I love when You, Mojo,  Phill, Jan, Graham or many of the others on Chordie had covered a song and they put their own flare, mystique,  and music talent to it - or some one like Bill gives me an English lesson -  it is always a great improvenent.  I'm pretty locked in to the cowboy chords. (:    It is also what I love about Chordie - it has so many different, talented people on here - and so many perspectives - it is like candyland to someone like me.

Again - all of you  THANK YOU !
