Gidday All

Just wondering if it`s pos to have a Chordie audio, or link to
maybe Chordie soundcloud.
It would be great to have all chordie songs available in the one place.
New songs ,covers,performances,poetry readings etc?

Grah 1
I like it a lot.
the style you`ve written it in seems very similar
to my stuff.I felt i was reading a better version of one of my own songs.

Wasted Emotions

When you young
easy to get angry
easy to get violent or abusive
shoot from the hip
give a little lip
wasted emotions
but as you get older
wisdom comes with age
got a bit mellower
not tryin` to be hip
or give a little lip
you find that
hate, abuse or aggro
don`t get you any where
turn the other cheek
is easy done
the rest is just
wasted emotions

i`m starting to like it a bit more.
PLEASE any other suggestions very welcome
i thought it was a bit corny with the rhymes
but hey it just came from now where so i just went with it.
i been looking @ the songs from u experts & they all seem to be love songs
so i think maybe that`s where this originated.
suggestions & brickbats all welcome
thanks

Gidday.
I`ve been writing some real dogs lately.
This popped into my head, and as usual i had to jot it down
or else it drives me crazy.I think this is rubbish as well, but
there`s a couple of things i like about it. so before i bin it
thought u guys may help me improve it or add chords or to see if i can salvage it?

ABC
Lovin` her was easy
Easy as  A  B   C
Keepin` her happy was harder
Harder than X   Y   Zee
Tried to give her a life style
Should have been easy
Easy as 1   2   3
Went through rough times
Offered to set her free
Said she didn`t want
Money or jewels
She only wanted me
I been a stupid fool
Only wanted lovin`
And that`s as easy
As  A   B   C

Some times this is the only way to descibe.
I think the C word really fits in this context!
Nice work

Gidday,

I`ve just finished reading a book  by. Will Hodgkinson
Guitar Man` A six string oydssey`
This is a great read,This guy decides to take up guitar @ 34
follow his journey thru britain & america as he searches out his guitar heroes
asking them for a few tips.
If you play guitar you`ve got to read it.
story ends up doing his first gig.(scary)

Gidday Vigon.
I see u an aussie,well u can`t go past an Aussie `Ashton` guitar.
Their entry level guitar sells for $129 in NZ
so i guess it even better priced for you.
It isn`t perfect but i think it`s equal to a $600 guitar.
Very playable,i`ve gifted several of these to budding players.
There is a model @ 149$ & 200$ also,  but to cheaper one is my choice.

gidday guys,
good work,i think it`s ok as is.
if u said what u had to say, then it`s complete.
i often notice writers think they need to spin a song out longer
& it losers it`s way & feels forced.
if u happy with it, that`s the main thing.
before u started there was nothing, now u have created some thing.
go u good thing!

One Trick Pony

Some one said I`m just
a one trick pony
Just write funny songs and
that i`m a phony
Well maybe i am
some say i can`t play
maybe i can`t  and by the way
can you  can you
Only make public funny songs
easy to understand and play
there`s plenty `bout personal pain
Plenty more `bout profit and gain
Political, social comment, and more
songs `bout troubles and beating the blues
songs `bout being a love sick fool
So yeah, if that`s one trick pony
that`s me.
