haha funny

My name comes from my nickname of Jan and part of my surname dle .......... hence Jandle ..... but is also very much a Kiwi or New Zealand thing to wear jandles on your feet in the summer (jandle = thongs in some countries)

Looking for Two Song Suggestions for the month of October.

One song from the UK and One Song from the USA – any song of your choice, from a band or solo artist, any genre.

Have fun,  READY, SET, GO!!!

Ok - so we are going to have another Challenge Month just like last month.   Why you may well ask?, well, due to the lateness of getting this month’s FSOTM up and running and because it was fun!

How's the Challenge Month work?  Here's how we'll try this one...
1. Pick a song, any song you like... cover it... upload... challenge!
2. Take that challenge!  Try to cover the one before you, and offer up another song as a challenge if you like!
3. Snowball out of control with multiple songs offered up as challenges that others can pick from and try out too!
These don't have to be GREAT AMAZING COVERS... have FUN with it!

You can't challenge others, unless you submit a recording!
The first one to post a recording starts the challenge rolling!

Go!

Hiya  Zurf,

yes there was supposed to be smile  I asked my co-admins to organise this month as I haven't been able to spend to long on my computor with my leg the way it is .......... not sure what happened, they seem to have gone awol lol smile   Anyway, will try to put something up for this month before the leg starts to get uncomfortable again smile

Wow finally caught up on everyone's covers, left messages on your sound clouds accts.   Great covers everyone smile

Thanks Peatle and Tigljk  for taking the time to listen to my attempt at one of Harry Chapin`s songs, I enjoyed performing it, I actually like Harry`s music smile

Hi everyone,  been away and i have lots of catching up to do listening to everyone's versions and will do in due time.  Wont be on much the next few weeks, as recovering from a nasty broken leg and the Lovely Amy is doing a great job running FSOTM whilst I have been away.

Anyway, belatedly here is the link to my FSOTM for July Harry Chapin - All My Life`s A Circle.

Well we are a clumsy lot aren`t we lol.  Sympathy to all the injured above smile

I can add myself to the list of injured as well.  I am presently into my 4th week of non weight bearing as I  have a broken leg which I broke whilst on our annual ski holiday at Cardrona in the South Island.   Damaged myself on the first day of skiing, which involved a snow mobile ride back to the first aid center on the mountain and a ride by helicopter to Dunedin Hospital.  Told my husband "don`t say I don`t take you anywhere" ... I mean come on, a helicopter ride and he had the best views anyone could want of the mountain ranges all the way to Dunedin ... Wish i could say the same.  Anyway, a bone-transplant and metal plate with 8/9 screws put in later, and stuck in the South Island for two weeks as the air lines wouldn`t fly me home until my leg brace was unlocked at two weeks.... I finally made it home a couple of weeks ago.  Another two weeks to go and hopefully I am allowed to start walking on it (hoping that is the case).  So for now, me and my broken tibial plateau are recuperating and resting up.
