I played an old Ibanez 6-12 string once. The 12 string side played like a dream. I put it down right away. I could feel a case of GAS coming on. I didn`t even try the 6 string side. As far as a doubleneck mosrite goes. Has anyone ever seen a Moserite that wasn`t dripping with cool. No matter how many necks it has.

It is a 50cc. It is a SICILY. She wants it to go back and forth to work. It is a retro looking one.Looks kind of like an old vespa.(from the italian part of China). It is an overated moped.I could have found her a used moped cheasper right here but I opted to get her that  "BAD BOY" instead. Also as far as facebook goes,I would love to facebook friend all my chordie friends. Everyone here is like one big happy online family. So if anyone wants to friend me on facebook be my guest.Just put your facebook name in a message so I will know who it isPunch in Joe Terlizzi.  My ugly mug of me sitting on a patio chair will come up. You can also see some great pictures of the trout.  Thanx

2 years ago my daughter gave me a yamaha fg 335bl (black) for fathers day. I restrung it but it still leaves a lot to be desired. It is the lowest of yamaha guitars but it was a gift from the trout. Is there anything I could do to make it as good as my sj-180. Bridge pins, set up, new nut. I hate to have it sitting in a case all the time. The reason I got it. I saw it at guitar center and liked it. My daughter saw a dean V coustic that she liked even more. I could only afford one or the other that day. We came home with the Dean. My wife went and ordered the yamaha for me so she could give it to me for fathers day. It looks great.Black with gold hardware. It just doesnt feel right. That is why I want to fix it up.Even if I have to spend more than it costs.(within reason).

Last night I surprised my wife by buying her a brand new motor scooter. she always wanted one. My point. I still don`t have a 12 string electric. I still drive a 20 year old junk pickup or 14 year old junk explorer. Was it worth it.  YES YES YES. She is like a kid waiting for a new toy.It still has to be delivered. Probably the same way I felt when I drove up to Maine to pick up my red strat. Has anyone ever had that feeling? The anticipation of getting a new toy. I`m sure it will be a long 2 weeks for her. Unlike my used old things. She got to order the color she wanted. I still feel good giving her gifts. Especially when she least expects it.

dino, I didnt think his playing was that bad. I don`t think they make enough soap to wash his mouth out though. My voice is awful. That is why I am in a band. Or else that could be me getting ridiculed like that. Plus ,it looks like he is on St. Catherine St.

Like I always say.Try them out and decide for yourself. Now I will start some trouble with everyone.Once you distort it through an amp,They pretty much sound the same.

When the time comes and you see that must buy, gotta have absolutely need or else life will cease guitar(or amp). All reason and factors or equations get thrown right out the window.Don`t they.

At least you tried. Now you know it didnt work. There is nothing worse than buying something and finding out there is a no cost way to do it.

How close are you standing to your amp. Try standing away from the amp first. It could be the cheapest fix. It`s almost the same as when you hold a microphone up to the amp.If you keep a distance,it will be cheaper than a soundhole cover. Oh and never fill the soundhole  with Rice pudding.

Good for you Joey!!!!! Gotta watch your friend's back. Besides, who made the singer king of the band? Shouldn't everyone have to agree to kick someone out?

It is an old malady. LSD,  =  Lead Singer disease. happens a lot from what I hear.

Joey maybe its time you and Bass playing friend look for a new singer?  Or did I understand that you 3 have worked out the problem and all is good again?

We did work it all out.In a case like this, diplomacy works better. We joined up with the singer,he didn`t join us. The lead singer in one band(that I started) did the same to me by rescheduling so I couldn`t make it.He knew my work hours and conveniently changed all rehearsals to my work schedule. Then to add insult to injury,he invited me back at my schedule when I got a female lead singer for awhile. I politely declined. When I had something he wanted,I was welcome back. I try to treat people like I want to be treated. Sometimes it`s an eye for an eye. I try to avoid that. I come out stronger in the end. Oh, and thank you for the support. Imagine if the whole world was a chordie sight.

After a hectic sunday, things are falling into place today.I had planned to participate in the jam sunday, but our bassist didn`t show and the singer didn`t want to do it with no bass. He wasn`t too pleased about him being a no show. I tried to speak up for him but he didn`t want to hear it. He put an ad up for another bassist and I didn`t cooperate with him.I said I wouldn`t do anything behind his back. Told him to do me one favor, if  you want to replace him,you do it. After thinking long and hard,I let him(the bassist) know what was going on. I told him that I didn`t like when it was done to me and I wasn`t about to do it to him. Besides he is a friend and he deserved to get better treatment than that. If he was going to find out,it would be from me and not some sneaky way. Either way he is staying and he thanked me for being honest with him. It was one of those moments that I didn`t enjoy.Sometimes I guess in a band, things have to be done that arent enjoyable. I really hated to have to tell him about the situation.I also feel much better that I told him and didn`t conspire behind his back or force him out. It`s nice to know that I did the right thing.Days or months later,I won`t be thinking I wish I didn`t do that. I know this can be a cutthroat game,I don`t want to play that way.

I have 6 three ring binders.3 for A to Z with the dividers for the letters. One for complete albums. One for beatles and one that I use with the band so I dont have to fiddle around with 5 other binders. Plus one heavy duty three hole punch.

If you have the original bridge and want to save some money, just simply remove the springs and cut a solid wood block to wedge in and convert the bridge to a fixed bridge.

I did that trick on a yamaha electric that would never stay in tune.It really works
