Hi everyone, welcome to 2018 January FSOTM.

Our first FSOTMfor the year will be very much an open mixture of any of the songs listed below suggested by two of our Chordie members neophytte and beamer.   So you will have heaps to choose from.  You can attempt to cover ANYof the LISTED SONGS and as many of them as you like .....but stick to the LISTED SONGS ONLY.

Here is my last song for this month of Christmas songs .... it was a challenge and i found it hard to find chords that suited my vocals as it is quite low in places and high in other places.  Anyway, here is my attempt at it.

I want a 6 string electric ukulele LEFT Handed .................bah tried everywhere, can`t get one!  So  finally decided to go with a 8 string non electric ukulele which i will use with the 8 strings for a while .................. but may take 2 strings off to get the 6 string effect which is much nicer.

Tig yes.........very strange for you guys on the other side of the world imagining a summer Christmas smile  I remember when we stayed in Canada for 9 months, we had our very first and only white Christmas, it was amazing smile

Well done neophytte, you certainly have done heaps of Christmas song .... so big points for your efforts.  Mean time I am struggling to find time to do any!  Hoping I get a chance tonight.  neophytte, well done as well on the slightly different effects on your filming .....  and I have to say I did have a laugh with your wife walking past in two of the videos, that really made me laugh smile

zurf .... I  didn`t know that song ~Christmas for cowboys~ yet i know most of Jonn Denvers music, must be one I missed along the line somewhere.  Nice cover by you, suits your voice, easy listening guitar.

Peatle .... I like your drawings!  You talked about the drawings on the wall and what they meant, what about the bottom one on the wall, you didn`t talk about that one?  Great to see you join in and a Merry Christmas to you too.
Also Peatle, in your second post, that is another great drawing (although I had the privilage of a sneak preview on this one smile)  The way you put the drawing together with your writing and then to put it together with music and you singing along, and talking was very cool... very original, i like it.

neophytte .....Santa Baby ...... your wife was awesome and has a great voice! She sang this song so well, she nailed it!  Get her on here more often!   Your guitar playing along with her was good too, what a team.
Also neophytte .... If I saw those spiders I would be running (in my case limping) as far away as I could in the other direction!  lol

Tigljk ..... glad you put your song in here that you wrote!  Its a great song!

beamer ... thanks for the correct link to the Ramones song, not sure what happened either.

easybeat .... A well written song by you ~Kiwi Christmas~, great the ukulele group performed it for you too.

mojo ...... ~Merry Christmas from the family~ .... never ever heard that song before so I went and listened to it.  You covered it well, great job.
