You were too cool. I was too old. Back when saturday morning was when the cartoons were on.And of course Davey and Goliath on sunday morning. Also, mister rogers was an ordained minister. SCTV did have a boxing match between him and Julia Child in 1982. You may want to see it.

pix is right.Look at the same items in a few days and see how much they are. Then go on during the last hour and watch the last minute bids. So yes it is too good to be true.

Good idea dino. They would have checked another store but I didn`t feel like driving 45 minutes to Natick. It`s not a necessity.Just a nice idea.

I went to buy the melody maker tonight.Guitar center was out of them. Now I am back to having 2nd thoughts again. I snoozed,I loozed. I don`t want to buy one without taking it for a test run first. Maybe I will make another attempt. If they had it.It would be too late now and I may have owned it.Then there would be no room for buyers remorse.

A furniture touch up pen.Looks like a magic marker. It may work. Is it that noticable?mMaybe even a sharpie may work if you can find a matching color.

June 8, 1985. This is the 27th anniversary of the day I met my wife. The world has been a great place since then. Back then I was a basketcase with no direction. My biggest concern waqs what size strings I would need on my guitar. That night changed my whole world. Can`t help think what would have happened if I changed my plans that night. It probably wouldn`t be good. Thanx Pam for putting up with me all this time. Have a great day and ENJOY EVERY SANDWICH

The ads are irritating. They can be skipped after 5 seconds most of the time. I am always on youtube. Much easier than digging up cds to hear one song.

My original quote was: The secret to self esteem is to set your expectations so low to the point that they are already met. That way you can take pride in your mediocrity. From the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes. Just thought it was funny because I was always happy with good enough

A lot of us have a quote on their post`s. Some are from famous people. Some I would imagine are self thought up(for lack of a better way of putting it). Where did the quote come from and what does it mean to you. Mine "ENJOY EVERY SANDWICH" is a book by Dr Lee Lipsenthal. I have never read the book myself,But it basically means to treat every day like it`s your last. I first heard it from my greatest influence and idol. The late Warren Zevon. He said it on his last appearance on the David Letterman show. It always stood out in my mind and I use it all the time. So to everyone "Enjoy every sandwich". Make today a great day.I have a lot to be thankful for and I try to remember it all the time. Nothing to do with food or sandwiches.    Where did you all get your quotes? How and why, what significance?

I have had alot of guitars over the years and I think the Fender Strat is the best all around electric for the money.

That is true. The guitar I get the most use out of is  my red strat. It`s not my favorite, just an all around great utility guitar. Well built, affordable and can be used for everything.Just look at how many players use them. There has to be a reason.

Musicians friend has Gibson melody makers for 299 this week. I aleays think if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. They are  single pickup guitars in 4 body styles. Les Paul, SG, Explorer and Flying V style. Has anyone had any experience with these. Is it a 300 dollar guitar, even if it is a Gibson. Is it too good to be true. It just seems odd that a real Gibson is going cheaper than some epis.It isn`t a stupid deal of the day. Any input will be appreciated

I`m willing to bet the smashed guitar was meant to be smashed. He was holding a Yamaha in his hands and that didn`t get smashed. The smashed one was probably ready for the campfire.

Cool.  I have my sticker pending something.  I didn't realize it was an inside the window deal, and my trucks windows are tinted extremely dark.  So, I am holding it in a safe place for when I am forced to get an economy grocery chaser instead of using my V8 4x4 pickup.

Be very careful Derek. I ended up throwing away the first one because it isn`t a one piece sticker. Don`t try to peel it off all at once.Start with a tiny corner and peel away SLOWLY,wiping with a cloth or paper towel while you doing it. Then it will,l be the coolest vehicle in your neighborhood.

The chevy has a tailgate, Floorboards and bucket seats. The Ford has always had the right of way at an intersection for obvious reasons.Actually Dino,I am partial to nissan`s myself but the chevy was a great price. Plus I needed something fast. After 2 weeks of looking,I found that.

I guess I learn something new everyday.First, great job pete.2nd,I always thought that that song was only done by Terry Stafford. Thanks for the history lesson.

Remember the chordie stickers. I finally bought a better truck and now have the sticker on the back window. My beloved 1992 ford f-150 now belongs to my stepson.(long story). Now I have a 2003 chevy silverado.I still can`t get pictures on chordie, but it can be seen on my facebook page. Anybody think I moved up a little bit when the trucks are side by side?

I just saw an ad for a "conrad" guitar on the worcester, mass. craigslist. The bridge has the same screw in it and it says it has been repaired. The screw caught my eye because it stands out so bad.If there were 2 screws(one on each side). It wouldnt look so bad.The one screw in the middle looks terrible. It looks like an amateur tried to repair it.
