Nice Job ken I liked it..
Well done..
To change the order of the plays goto edit page and manage songs and move the songs manually up and down.
You may have done this and myspace maybe having one of it's cra$$ moments

Hi Phill
There is a problem with your link. I think I said it was better to copy and paste directly from the address bar at top of the web page on soundclick..
As there is some attribute hidden in the address that doesn't work if the address is typed out.
Link as copied from the address bar is http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default … dID=886959
Ark
Ps
I just listened to the song Phill great recording of an excellent piece..
Well done!

Hi Phill
My Father served though out the 2nd world war from the Middle East and though Europe and into Germany seeing horrors that thankfully I've never had to witness.
He never spoke much about his experiences (His silence) until later in his life.
To me all who serve in the forces have my greatest repect.
Great lyrics Phill like to hear the recording when you get round to it.

You get more or less get what you pay for strat wise but there are some exceptions...
I've a got Mexican (Silver Sister edition) strat and it looks and plays well.

Lena, Kenny, Phill and Russ
Its great to have been part of this project that has turned out so well.
Lena's poem has provided musical insparartion to both kenny and I and has been very interesting to do..:)
Kenny has written and played a lovely moving piece of music and it was a pleasure to mix.
Phill's narration is excellent, measured and well suited to the overall feel of piece.
and Russ has put together a poignant slideshow which ties it all together.
All in all most pleasing..

this is so wierd, i can get to my site via arkady's address but not how i've written it...someone tell me where i've gone wrong... please
Hi Phill
I copied the link directly from the address bar at soundclick and it seems to contains a hidden attribute that doesn't appear in the actual link as it shows on the post.
If you copy and paste from the page's address bar on soundclick then the link should work ok.

Re: i sound the same on most songs (23 replies, posted in Acoustic)
Hi joy123
I'm assuming your've got the open chords and some barres down ie your comfortable chord changes etc.
Picking through chords in a arpeggio style can bring variations to your playing.
Songs you know well can sound different without to much practice.

Re: Deaths and Paupers. (24 replies, posted in Recording)
Hi Lena
Really image intensive lyrics you have written. They read like a black and white video imaging life/death values.
"Memorials in the masses has snobbery in the classes,
Lived a lifetime but your choices still remained."Well done to You.
I agree this piece should be spoken or softly sung and although I am not fond of my voice I will give it a go if you like.Just let me know.
I know you are not Scottish but for some reason I hear a solemn bagpipe playing in the background and breaks. Just a thought.
Kenny
Hi Kenny
If you want to take part I would be pleased to get your version of Lena's poem and put it to music.
I hope you can find the time to do it my emails at the side.
Thanks

Re: Deaths and Paupers. (24 replies, posted in Recording)
Russ/Roger
I'm thinking of making the music secondary to the spoken word a backing of sorts almost devoid of a regular chord progression which I hope will eliminate the problem of timing. I think I will be able to work around differences in tempo and length adding frills etc when required.
This is an experiment so anything can happen
and of course would have to meet with Lena's approval.
Russ an mp3 of the words would be great.
Thanks.
