Wow! You lot had me working overtime just to go through and check out all these suggestions tonight!!! lol Good on you all ........ great to see so many suggestions
It took me awhile but I got there and only 5 haven`t made it through for various reasons such as ............ no mention of a city or country but may say the word city as an example. Anyway, I will be posting up the new listing tomorrow. Apologies for the LATE start this month, it has been a very busy couple of weeks here for me.
Ditto to Phill`s comment, this could be a song. I like what you have written here, excellent first attempt, excellent full stop
(edited to correct a spelling mistake by Jandle)
A little twist at the end there easybeat
Thanks Zurf for having a listen and comments
Ok here is my last entry for this month ..............why I picked it I have no idea ........ I couldn`t find a chord (even after trying to transpose it that suited me) so sheer determination won over vocals .......... it was way to deep in parts for me lol

(edtied by Jandle to add the word "was")
Great cover
neophytte ... all good, great to get input from people so we can grow and learn
Thanks for comments both here and on Sound Cloud
neophytte .......... thanks, yep your right about the song being more free flowing, totally ... however as I am not the lovely Carol King and don`t have her vocals or talent, I just have to sing it how I can sing it, it`s a cover after all, done my way lol
Peatle .... thanks and yes i have been away for a month, back to reality now
Tig ..... thank you for your comments left on Sound Cloud
Definately left - handed
Ok, here is my quick attempt (2nd take) at this song .... a Singer with the letter K ............. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - Carole King. Love to hear your feedback good or bad
Wow memory lane and a bit sad actually. So many talented musicians, amazing people gone. I also looked at 2016 after 2017 and just so many have gone
Thanks Neo for the welcome home
Wow neophytte and zurf you two have been busy, love it. I sat and listened to them all today now I am back from holiday and have plenty of internet access again. So congratulations you two, very impressive the sheer number you guys managed to perform this month.
I agree neophytte, you are a human jukebox, you sure can turn them out. You did one song that i never heard of before (Dedicated Follower of Fashiion by the Kinks) so that was a new one to me. Probably vocally in my opinion ~Don`t Want Me Baby~ was your best vocally and possibly ~Living Doll~ . I thought ~Those Were The Days~ well done but maybe a bit low vocally for you?, wondered if a different chord on this song for you?. I liked the added video of your setup too.
Zurf, I thought you did a good job of most of your covers and I particularly liked Carl Ketchin`s ~ Small Town Saturday Night~, loved the commentary as you performed it too. Also ~Drivin` My Life Away~ by Eddie Rabbit I enjoyed, you made it lots of fun, makes me want to learn it and play it but i couldn`t ever play guitar like you managed to on this one, you nailed it on the guitar. Agree with Jim you are an entertainer.
So with all that said ........ the month is running out and I hope some of you others out there will have a go at some of these ...... I am sure you can fit at least one song in. I hope to do one this week after the big clean up and unpacking is done. I may even try to do one tonight as long as I don`t fall asleep on the couch tonight after the unpacking. Down side of holidays is the clean up when ya get home.
Any song that is a bit controversial has in fact done what's it's meant to, cause people to think, react, talk about etc ...... Just like protest songs and such.
So with that in mind, regardless of the subject matter, your song has done just that.
Well done, very much a folk song which is what you wanted to achieve and have done.
Love this Jim, I wouldn't mind attempting this when I get home from holiday.
Welcome back Pete
Love the photos, love the Abby Road take off haha and event sounds just awesome!
Hi everyone, great to see your suggestions.
Haha Zurf if I did that before I slept I would be wide awake! lol
Great to see you Strummerboy Bill and Tigljk joining in
