Hey Grah
Whats happened to the house prices in Greece recently.
How is austerity effecting the average person?
we don`t hear much about Greece since the bailout.

Sorry Bill
That was my feeble attempt at humour!

Gidday Bill
Yeah i wrote a song with the word love in it.
I`ve heard my word used in heaps of songs since. So yeah, i guess
there`s lots of pros stealing songs from Chordie.

At Christmas my wife wants a present(or two)
I often wonder what should i do?
A voucher for sky diving
That would give her a thrill
Or Maybe
Send her for a bungy jump
Give her a bit of free fall
But don`t see the point in this
because you just bounce back to where you started

basically i`ll end up doing
what i usually do
Give her jewellry
can`t go wrong!

Dino
i like Van too,but theres some great young artists making terrific music.
Not the chart stuff or the stuff on the radio.
But good country/folk/indie/roots/acoustic  honest music.
Also i really like The Milk Carton Kids  kinda a modern Simon & Garfunkal

Yeah Dino i`m for the old one,i gather 80% of the population is too.
But there`s going to be a vote, the government is keen to change
so leading up to the vote i think we are going to get massaged into changing it.
i think democracy may be the loser on this one.

Gidday,
In recent times i`ve taken to searching out less well known artists.(Chordians also)
I love the singer song writers, just vocal & guitar. Real music.
Currently i`m listening to Nadia Read/Courtney Barnett/Jake Bugg
What are you listening to?
I`m interested in looking up any of your suggestions.
thanks EB

Peatle
I love the way you`ve done 1 line then back to the chorus
then 3 lines /chorus
then 2 & 2 again

Gidday Phill
I know meaningful words are easier to write.
But maybe you should try ordinary or even silly words
to get you thru the block.
It`s a real trick to make it work, but often you end up with a great song.

Grace Of God  ( I`ve done this very simple G & C   for verse  Am & D for chorus
Just wanting to make the most of the words.)
That man walking down the street
Talking to himself out aloud
Obviously got some sort of problem
Your callous comments
unthinking at that moment
Hope you`ve had time to reflect
A little bit of grace
A little bit of charity
A little bit of understanding
In the past i`ve been ashamed
Of my knee jerk response
Get off my high horse
But for the grace of god
There goes you or I
A little bit of grace
A little bit of charity
A little bit of understanding
But for the grace of god
There goes you or I
