This is where an electric is better LOLOL Ill pound that drum for ever. Electric and Barre chords are like PB&J they just go together.
I just have to disagree with you Scott. If a guitar is set up properly barre chords are no problem. I play barre on my 12er as easily as I do my electric or acoustic. The only guitars I have trouble playing barre is a classical with it's extra wide, flat fretboard and I am sure if I used one regularly I could master that.
At the end of the day it is all down to three things....................... practice, practice, and then some more practice.

Hi Dick,
Please try pressing the control (ctrl) and minus (-) buttons together to reduce your screen resolution. Adverts only normal encroach on the page when the resolution is set too high.
Roger
P.S. As this is nothing to do with autoscroll you should have really started a new topic to ask this.
I am fairly certain that it was Lieven 'gitaardocphil' who first used the term "Chordian". I have certainly found him using it in 2007
Roger
Congratulation on passing this milestone Doug.
Roger
I like Chordians.
Welcome to the forum,
Roger
Bob Cummings reported a spammer and asked why, if the person had been banned, was his post not deleted.
A very good point and just so he and, anyone else who has noticed this understands, I would like to explain.
Any Moderator can ban a Member wherever he has posted his garbage as this is an action taken against the individual, but a Moderator cannot take action on any post, unless it is in the section he is responsible for.
So if there is spam in 'Chordie editors' any of us can ban the perpetrator (to prevent further posts from him) but only Russell Harding (the Moderator for this section) can remove the post when he next logs on.
I hope that makes it clear.

OK this script has been reported in About Chordie this morning. I will ask Per to investigate.

I am pleased to see that I am not the only one who has a 'Senior Moment' from time to time.
Roger
I do not have this showing and I would be interested to know if anyone else has the same.
I suggest you clear your cookies and perform a malware/virus scan as this can often eliminate these glitches.
Please let me know if this works.
Roger
It should work well as a song when you get your music sorted. But in B???? I guess you don't want Zurf to play it
Roger
I have not see any blue songs, please post a link to any you find.
Roger
I have just checked half a dozen songs and the 'Autoscroll' works absolutely fine on my laptop.
When you write to Per please let him know the operating system and browser you are using.
Roger
Just to clarify: You cannot send your Songbook per se, you can only send a link to your Songbook, so that the recipient is directed to the page on Chordie where your Songbook is located, without them having to search for it.
However it does not appear to be working anyway so I will write to Per, the site owner, and inform him of this.
Roger
A very different type of gig which I am sure was really appreciated.
I have to agree with you about the one-lungers. I used to belong a Vintage Tractor Society (I had a 1928 International 10-20 restored by me). I particularly liked to hear the original Marshall, a one cylinder diesel, very slow revving and the ground would vibrate with each firing.
Roger
Nice looking 12er! Happy New Guitar Day.
Roger
Those onions are a problem, they got to me too.
Roger
Good for you both. Next time we want a video of the performance please
Roger
Wish I still had my Daytona 955
Roger
As you can see from this sample which is openly available on the internet (and therefore does not infringe on copyright) it is in 4/4.
The full sheet music score is available at €4.04 from Musicnotes where I copied this section.
Roger
Hi Chris,
You can use the microphone of a tuner (set to Chromatic) to determine what note you are singing (but only by holding one note) but as far as I know there is no gismo to tell what key you are singing in.
Roger
Thanks guys, I probably did not express myself well enough in my earlier post. Thank you for your input and lets hope that Per can sort it out.
Roger
Rickyjack and Hummin n Strummin. Just to be clear. You went into Resources, changed your instrument setting to say 'Ukulele - (C tuning)' and without doing anything else all songs show the correct instrument chords.
I am asking because I have been with 'Ukulele - (C tuning)' for 24 hours and every song that I look at is still shown in guitar. OK I can go into any song I look at and change it individually but the setting in Resources is supposed to be a global override. In the setting I have, the Chord Chart and every single song should be showing the uke chords and not guitar.
If it is working for you and not for myself and dsleland there is something very odd going on, so I am hoping you misunderstood my question and are saying that you can change songs individually.
Roger
Dino, you say it is working for you. Are you sure that when you make the change in Resources every song you look at has been changed to the alternative instrument? I can make the change, to say ukulele, but the songs still all have guitar chords.
Dsleand, I have written to Per the site owner asking him to look into this.
I would like to know if other Members can, or cannot, successfully change to an alternative instrument and see the correct chords after the change, please.
Roger
Great looking instrument and a good deal, congratulations.
