Yeah, when you master barre chords, they can be quite fun.
Agreed Steelstrings, I took Zurf's advice [do it a thousand times] and it works. Barre's open up so many more songs, I'll never get bored.
my friend jon is a great help also, he made me learn barre chords, tanks jj.

Wow, what a great vacation. we started out on a bad note [left friday morn at 8 am, blew a brake line a few miles in, 4 hours later on the road again] We arrived at the dutch mason blues fest at 4 pm, set up camp and started playing guitars at our site, we pretty much had guitars going all the time and at nite when the big acts were over we jammed at out site till 4 or 5 am for four days. people from other camp sites heard the music and dropped by with their guitars, harmonica's and bongos. at one point on sunday nite i counted 48 people at the camp site so new friends were made along with some great musicians. Every morning I was breakfast cook and loved the task, all ate very well and i am very happy the girls cleaned my mess, thanks gals, We were like a big family our four couples and took care of each other, We got to see some great acts on the big stage like Willie
Nelson's son Lukas who has a great texas style blues, James Cotton was great as always, Los Lonely Boys really impressed the crowd, This year the fest didn't have many well known blues names but the music was top knotch
as is every year, all in all we got to see 28 acts over three days, not a lot of sleep as well, but all worth it.
The next four days my wife and I ventured to Inverness Beach Village on Cape Breton Island and set up camp for four days. At the beach all day and around a camp fire with guitar at nite. Last day we drove around the island and had a visit with my Mom. A great week was had and now to unpack and get ready to go back to........
...... work, bla,,,,
