I am looking for someone to get together with once a week to jam and kick around some ideas. Ofcourse having a beer is also cool.

I am in Camden, SC but I would be willing to travel to hang out and have some fun.

I change my strings once a month. They fill up with dirt and junk and sound like crap after that time. I get strings for about $4 a set at wally world.

Well the abm is supposed to be written Abm. This means it is an A flat minor. As far as the F chord I have no idea.

This ia an Abm

E-----4---

B-----4---

G-----4---

D-----6---

A-----6---

E-----4---

Wave22 is correct. But the only thing I would do differently is this. You know if the song being stolen is yours. You should go to a lawyer and get his advice. You can probably open it in front of him because he is an officer of the court but he will most likely tell you to wait until you go to trial to open it. Also if you send it to anyone to review it send it return recipt requested this way you have some proof that you sent it to them.

This process is reffered to as a poor mans patten.

Tablature is just playing by numbers. Look at the Tab and you will see six lines each is a string. The top line is the first string or the high E. Second line is a B third is a G and so on. All the numbers on the line represent the frets that the string is played on.

Exaple:

E---------3----

B---------2----

G---------3----

D---------0----

A--------------

E--------------

This example is a D cord in tablature form.

I had the same problem for years. Then as I learned how to change chords better it just came all at once.

Keep practicing.

Ps. it only took me that long because I only practiced once a week. Now I practice every day

The case is some good advice. Do not try to fix it yourself. You would be better off selling it knicked up then a s%#t house carpentry job. Take it somewhere to get it fixed.

I have the TR50 I think that is the right model. I happen to love it. Although it could use a little more bass to it. But it does sound great. If you don't mind a bigger amp. SWR has a great sound with all the bass you would need also fishman is good. These two bigger ones don't have as many effects as the Trace though.

Hope this helps.

Everyone has some good input. But I would recommend that you keep playing your guitar that you have. 3 months is not a long time playing. Would wait another year before getting a new one. You might not be interested in playing anymore then you might be out thousands of dollars.

My two favorite guitars are my Alvares Acoustic it is affordible it plays and sounds great. As for electric I love my Gibson SG standard the strings bend so soft. Both are a pleasure to play. Just remember to have it set up the way you like to play.

What I would think of doing is have her write down a list of songs she wants to play. Then try to find the easiest out of them. This way she is interested in playing the songs and won't give up so easy. Also you have to act like you like and learn the songs.

If you learn a few popular scales then you can add fome flair at any point in the song with little licks here and there.

Yes it will get better with practice. Also you might want to have the guitar set up and the action lowered as far as it will go this way it will be easier to finger the chords.
