I know you to be a hard worker, so in that sense, I wish you luck.

nao - my brother, I've always wanted an S6!

Even though chordie has 420,000 + registered users (wow that's a big number) the facebook page just passed a milestone of over 300 "likes". Considering it took almost 3 months to get the 1st 100, the page has seen great momentum gaining 200 likes in a little over 30 days!

It's  Beatles song called "The Ballad of John and Yoko". It should be able to be found here on chordie, but I realize beatles songs are blocked in some locations. Here's another great site for beatles tunes if you can't find it on chordie.

Just look for songs in alphabetical order.

At the top of the home page, right below the alphabet is a large search window that enables you to search by artist or song title.

On the right side of all song pages it says "Songbook: ADD". Click on ADD.

The town where Andy was born and raised, Mt. Airy, NC is about a 30 minute drive from my NC home. The whole town is a tribute to Mayberry and it is said Mt. airy is what Mayberry was modeled after. There is a Floyd the barber in town and many other tributes including the Andy Griffith Museum. But the real attraction is Snappy Lunch - it's been there since the 20's and serves the best pork chop sandwich you will find anywhere.. thinking of it makes my mouth water.

The rhythm matters, the beat matters, the feel and tempo matters. Strumming patterns don't mean a hill of beans. You can oftentimes play the same song in numerous patterns and each sound as good as the other. You can even vary strumming patterns in the same song.  That's why I hate "what is the strumming pattern to this song" questions - there ain't no such thing - strum what feels and sounds good for the moment, then change it when the feeling moves you. If it sounds good it is good.

It was great to jam with a few newbies tonight. Jim, Astro and Bob were a pleasure to meet and hear. We fell off from a regular Thursday / Saturday Skype thing, but I sure would like to see a regular scheduled jam start up again! They are always a blast!

'Nom - This has come up before, and I agree with you - the color choices are horrendous. Unfortunately, none of us Mods have the ability to change it - It must be done by the site owner. Hopefully he'll read this post, but I don't think changing font colors are much of a priority for him.

Roger - can you change the colors or send a note to the grand wizard?

^ I didn't say it was a good or particularly funny joke. big_smile

It's a joke GW - read this thread:

And chordie decoder ring sales plummet. Oh well.
