My first car was a Hillman Minx with a four speed gearbox the gear change was mounted on the steering column with a bench seat and no seatbeats..
I thought the clutch had gone with juddering starts before I realised I was trying to pull away in 3rd gear for months... I was learning in a Ford Anglia with four on the floor. I was a complete novice...  lol

Hi ShadyWilbury
You've got a nice sound there. I did think the vocals were a bit weak in volume otherwise well done..

Hi silanger
Welcome to Chordie..
I guess if you can't understand English then the comments won't mean much to you..
but as daddycool says a song with English lyrics would pehaps draw more feedback unless you are able to record the song then it can be judged in a different light..

Don’t think there’s anything wrong with texting in general it’s a good way to stay in touch though I do spend a fair bit of time deciphering my wife’s messages where she types walking along. All the kids and Grand kids have the lastest phones which play music, connect to internet, take pictures, and can “Blue tooth" each other and I think they can use it as a phone if they want  smile . They look in horror at me when I tell them my bog standard phone can’t receive their pictures…
I think it a case of being king Knute facing the rising tide of technology ….. Oh hum

Hi KajiMa
I guess for me would it have to be the computer I use and the software which I run to produced my sort of music.
But it's horses for courses and what's important to me wouldn't be to someone else.
Of course all the kit in world wouldn't be any good without some reasonable musician/engineer on the end of it..

Hi marcustee
Welcome to Chordie.
a daunting task......... and so it may seem. We have all have faced the climb but if you really love the guitar and are willing to spend a good deal of your time with it. Then you will make progress.
My advice is to begin with the basics at first and don't expect to much at the start..
There are alot of good tutorials around on the web for beginners and I would advise you to try a few and see what suits you.
Good luck to you..

Hi daddy
If your reliable turn up for work every and keep your nose clean you sometimes become invisible and are taken for granted in this world.
Fairness doesn't come into it sometimes and you don't get the respect you deserve from a job well done.
Roll on retirement eh....
Well done on another song

Hi Phill
My stuff errs on the side of melancholy and I enjoy listening to music  tinged with some saddness.
It just seems we have to qualify down beat numbers with an excuse while up beat numbers require no reason...
just a thought
Great song Phill I enjoyed the keyboard, vocals and the sentiments of the song..
Well done

Hi Ark,

I'm just astounded at how beautiful and professional your music sounds, I wish I could get the same feel and depth. Dawn ticks all the boxes, and when you say it's like poetry in music you are right on the money.
Just as a coincidence, I wrote a new poem this week called "Song of Nature" which I'll be uploading shortly, which also deals with moon rise going to sun rise.

Excellent work my friend

Phill

Thanks Phill I appreciate the comment.
But I must disagree with what you said about your own pieces.
To be truthful I listen to your songs a fair bit on myspace and they certainly have depth and feeling in abundance..

Roger
Thanks for the comment here and on Myspace. Always appreciated.

Selso
It's difficult to try and workout how long a piece takes to do as I work on and off sometimes going back to a unfinished one after a while. But some will take a few days and others hang around for months and never get finished.

daddy
Thanks for listening and commenting....

Russ
I kept the percussion element quite high. I thought it added interest as the piece opened..
Thanks for the comment.

Mark
Glad you liked it and thanks for the friends request on Myspace.

Kenny
Didn't quite get into the top ten but I was still pleased as there were a lot of great Ambient pieces in the charts.
Thanks for the comment.
