I find your question rather odd. You are already signed in, you could not have posted your message without being signed in, so you should have no problem accessing your Songbooks or any of the songs listed.

Difficulty in changing your password, if you do not remember the original one, is understandable and a different issue. I can help you out with that if you write privately to me, as that information does not need to be made public.

If I have misunderstood your query please explain.

I read your first comment and was admiring your handywork thinking to myself 'those speaker look different ????'.

I now understand why. Something I had never thought of, different speakers to compliment each other, and improve the audio response. Great advise from your suppliers.

Did Roger just offer to be the "designated driver"?  Always a good idea when there's a party with "adult beverages"...... but he should be warned that we drive on the "right" side of the road here, and everyone drives like they are the only ones out there.  Arrogant, agressive, reckless, and pretty much like they are running from the law!

Doug, you forget that I have lived in Portugal for the last 10 years so I am more used to driving on the wrong side of the road than the 'correct' English side. smile Also, although face to face, the Portuguese are the friendliest most welcoming nation of people ever, when they get behind the steering wheel of a car they become psychotic.

Jeff I hate to tell you but I am a boring drinker! Bottled water and CocaCola (full sugar, not low cal or zero) are my usual tipple. I will have an occasional bottle of beer but I am one of those who are extremely sensitive to alcohol and a small amount can make me very ill, so I take little.

Many congratulations to Joe (Baldguitardude) and his long suffering better half, Kim (who, incidentally did most of the work in composing their new work of art).

I wish you both well and a long, happy and healthy life for your new little girl, who I believe is to be called Ella.

My flight leaves from Faro, a stop over at Gatwick then direct to Tampa. I am flying with B.A.

I use Audacity. It can alter tempo and alter pitch. You can record with it and add effects, best of all it is free. smile

One of my long time students (and surrogate granddaughter smile) turned 20 in January so I recorded the 1960 Craig Douglas song for her, I am a bit late in doing it as I had 'flu then a cold and hence problems singing.

On a plus side for Roger and Zurf - looks like there will be beds available for you instead of a tent!

Copied from my post in About Chordie:

Per has made a change which seems to have cleared this little problem however you will have to hold your 'shift' button and press the 'refresh' (the circular arrow at the end of the address box) to ensure that works. It has certainly worked for me.

Please post if you are still having difficulties.

Thanks Joe but I am a PC guy and cannot get on with Apple/Mac. smile

I have seen most of your videos Russ and you get some great results. I thought that the software you used would be far more expensive so I will look into that.

Just an addition to Doug's comment; Ernie Ball certainly produce a ball end classical guitar string (I know we sell them smile ) and I guess there are other makers that do too.

English is the second language here (the area relies heavily on tourism) and is taught in schools. Most of my students are Portuguese but they generally prefer English/American music, however I do make sure they do learn some songs in their native tongue.

Written Spanish and Portuguese look similar but their pronunciation is completely different and they generally cannot understand each other.

Raquel is a great kid and this is the first solo recording that she has made, you can see her eyes glancing down and to the right for her lyrics. I spent my time pulling faces and making gestures at her to make her smile and I love her, completely unrehearsed, double thumbs up at the end.

Here is my 'Girl Saturday', Raquel, who works with me for two hours every Saturday for her guitar lessons. It is great having all the guitars in tune and my own personal translator when a non-English speaking person comes in or phones.

The Baby Dean in the opening clip is the one I bought her for my birthday last year.

In the dim recesses of my brain I was sure this has been brought up before Jerry. This links will take you to the discussion that I think answers your question:
