joey..... what' the price? Is it the original ne or the reissue? Never played on a GRETCH, but isn't THE PENGUIN their most famous and expensive guitar?

Phil ,Gretch guitars are fantastic, not cheep either I do not know which one is thier top of the line, try one out if you ever get the chance.

The original, not the reissue. Yes the white penguin is rarer. But this is my dream guitar and I can have whatever one I want. So na na na na na. At the Hard Rock in Foxwoods, Chris Issacs donated his signed. It is in the window and I looked at it for quite a few minutes. When you look at the original and the reissue. There is no comparison. The first time I saw one was in 1983 and I fell in love with it.

If they go, it will be for a short time. Twinkies have been around too long to just disappear. I know a lot of the drivers from Interstate Bakeries. (Hostess, Wonder Bread, Drakes). This has been going down for awhile. They`re the ones I feel bad for. The bakers refused to go back to work after being warned that this would happen

Try it in standard tuning. I never saw any tabs or sheets that have called for drop tuning for that song

I have the same problem. After working 11-13 hours nonstop, I am too beat and sore to pick up a guitar. I hate it but that`s the way it is.

Plain and simple. What are your favorite movies. James Bond, Star Wars, Steel Magnolias(yeech). What type of movies do you never miss when they come on. Do they match your personality. I will start. My favorites are the old technicolor musicals starring Carmen Miranda. Greenwich Village, The Gangs All Here, Down Argentine Way,  to name a few. I can watch them all day and I also have a 5 DVD set. People are amazed when they hear that. It would be great to be in a world like that. Like Jimmy Buffett said, "They Don`t Dance Like Carmen No More"

Thank you so much for all the help and suggestions. Unfortunately we had to have the cat put down. It had pneumonia and  was couldn`t breathe  this morning. The vet suggested having her put down. This has been going on for about a week. I just didn`t notice anything wrong until saturday. Once again  thanx  for all the help and well wishes. As far as Phil Williams comment goes. I will simply ignore it.

We are not giving up on it Dino. She came downstairs looking for food last night. Too bad the dishes were upstairs. I`m no vet but I know that is a good sign.

A shopping bag full of extra`s. Cords, strings, 9 volt batteries. Even an extra guitar  and amp kept in one place where you can always get to them. As far as confidence and voices go. There is no bag for that.

This may sound mean to all of you but I had to rush the dog to a vet this morning. My wife and daughter will bring the cat to the  Auburn Cat Hospital tomorrow. I also got no enjoyment explaining to my daughter (the trout) why I took the dog and not the cat. The dog is only 7 months old and the cat is 11 years old. She was very good about it. She has had this cat since she was 6. She is now 15. We have prepared her for the worst and are hoping for the best. Before anyone calls me mean or heartless, I am getting no enjoyment out of any of this. This is almost as bad as when I had to tell her that her favorite uncle died. It isn`t fun, but it happens.

IT'S AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR

The capital letters were unnecessary. Electric guitars can get damaged just as easily as acoustic guitars. Especially Gibson and Epiphone  Les Pauls and SGs.

The cat eats baby food  if we bring the food to her. It sleeps in my daughters room. Has always done that since we got it from the shelter back in 2003. This cat has always had trouble holding food. It is drinking water. It also will take on any dog. A pitbull went after it once and  the cat won.  So our shitzu isnt going to hurt it much.  Maybe it is enjoying the room service.

It is afraid to come downstairs to eat. We have a dog too. We just started leaving food and water upstairs to see if it eats there. It had the run of the house until the dog came into the picture. If it doesnt start eating it will go to the vets. We have a cat hospital less than a mile away . The cat is old but my daughter loves it and I don`t want anything to happen to it. Thanks for the help

I adree on the stratocaster, and I also sold my les paul some years ago and I miss it alot also.

Call it reverse snobbery. I have played Les Pauls and dont really care for them. Mainly because they weigh a ton (figuratively).

Fender Stratocaster. Just an all around good utility guitar. Affordable, built like a tank and can do pretty much whatever you need it for (Rock, country< blues etc). I think of it as the Ford Pickup of guitars

It`s all quiet now. I ended up with a lot of leaves and one halloween ornament down. Lucky for me. I had 4 trees cut down back in july. They can`t fall if they are gone
