Musicians friend has a 7 piece set signed by Bob Dylan for only 25.000 dollars. Plus, I see a lot of used harmonicas for sale. All I can say to myself is eww. Without getting crude, all I can say is except for my wife.........

I'm thinking about treating myself to a high end Boss multi-effects pedal.  I'm leaning towards a Boss GT-10.  I see a lot used used GT-6's, some GT-10's, and the occasional 8.  How different are these models.  What experience do you guys have with them?

You should post a new topic instead of putting this on a different subject.

You are obviously no child of the 60's smile. One had to live the experience of 'Beatlemania' to really appreciate their innovative music talents.

Roger

The Beatles have staying power. Let`s see how many of todays singers(?) still get regular airplay or still come out with records long after they are gone. The same with Elvis.Lets see where these rappers will be 50 years later. We wont be around to see but I am willing to bet that I am right. Right fine art

Beatles - a lot of bands have moments of brilliance and inspiration, but no one can match the quality and diversity of music output in a mere 5 year period. Does Abbey Road sound 38 years old - I think not! Has any dared put out an album with virtually every genre on it since The White Album? McCartney is now a national treasure - they should preserve him in wax - especially if it stops him writing another Frog Chorus.

I personally can`t classify The Beatles. They are an ultra super group that were in a class of their own. Who doesn`t have some Beatles influence in them? While it is true that they are the most covered, their extreme greatness puts them in a whole different world.

Hopefully, all the airlines will learn a lesson from this. Just the bad publicity should be enough to wake them up.

Maybe filter caps. Is it an old amp. Does it buzz at any volume? If it is the same at low volume and high volume. You need to give more info.

"As the Raven Flies" by Dan Fogelberg. Back in 1982. On a no name les paul copy that met it`s demise soon after

My facebook page was hacked this weekend. Everyone on there recieved a message from me on how to get a free Ipad. DON`T GO ON THAT LINK. I didn`t send that message and I am sure whatever happens if you click on won`t be good. I hope a;ll of you see it as a scam and didn`t click on. I changed my password and hopefully that fixes it.

It is not unusual for guitars to be damaged from baggage handlers. That is why they have travel cases. But- I don`t think a travel case would have done much good in that incident.

By far-Leonard Cohen. Maybe the most covered artist ever.

That is true. The beatles lost the rights to their own songs around 1968 or 69. Basically they had to get permission to perform their own music. Then in the 80s, michael jackson got them. I don`t know who owns them now. George Harrison started his own label (Harrisongs)and was able to keep most of his own songs.

I think I was half wrong too. On the plus side, I was half right also

It`s that time of year again. Christmas time. Time for christmas music new and old. Peace on earth and good will to men and some of the most irritating christmas music imaginable. What is this years most irritating christmas song. It could be new or an old classic. I have to hear it all day in my work. The one that really gets on my nerves is "LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW" by The Fab Four.  Not THEE fab four (The Beatles) but the fab four. A beatles cover band that put out a xmas album with beatles songs done with xmas song lyrics. I don`t know how to describe it and I don`t know how to put up the link for youtube. Check it out and I guarantee you wont be disappointed. It`s awful. Then post yours.

I`m still shocked over this. I can`t imagine sending my kids to school only to have them taken away by some nutcase with a gun. These kids did nothing to deserve this. That stupid &^%# should have killed himself first. Then worry about killing others

I can sympathize Derek. My music room used to be the family room. Now a bunch of instruments, a drum kit and amps have taken over it. The reason I bought this house was because of the finished basement. The other option could be to keep everything in one corner. The only drawback is that it has to be unpacked and repacked each time you use them.

there is really nothing I need.  A Gretsch White Falcon (original one,not the reissue) is out of the question. I definitely don`t need any more equipment. Or my dream car. An Austin Healey 300 mkII. Or the money to get the tattoo on my other arm that I wan`t.
