beamer, well written and I can see this as a really good song.  Sorry your going through the valley presently.  I have read your poems too.  Something I heard once was this ....... no matter how deep, how long,  how dark the valley you  go through, the main thing is to keep going through it, don't stop, keep going and eventually you will come out the other side.

Curt, excellent comments left on sound cloud.  I am rapt for you, something I wish I had done when I was younger.  I only starting singing and playing in the last few years... oh it would have been fun to be part of a band.  Good for you smile

A good poem and thoughts written down easybeat, sadly often true that not everyone makes comments or has a listen and   I know how encouraging it is to get a comment or two.  I am not sure what the reason is for it, but I hear what your saying.

I am sure there must be more than one of you out there that can join in and put your name down smile

Well that's a mighty fine gadget I`d say
Take it anywhere , any day
No big set up
I hear a few hiccups
As you settle down and play

First few songs and strums
Going really well , using your thumb
The keg getting lighter
You sound a bit brighter

You got a monster rock and roller
Now you just gotta holler
With mic, amp and guitar
You strut your stuff, your a star
You got ya mojo on

Songs are getting longer
Words getting slower
Keg half empty
Legs wobble plenty
But that rock and roller is steady
It's all set up and ready

Last couple of songs now
This gadget has it all
You emptied the keg completely
head feels like lead
Think it's time now for bed
Go rest your head
And dream of your rock and roller

Nice one easybeat ... sounding really good on that one smile

Ok ... Here we go again.  Looking for Suggestions for Two Songs and Two Different Genres.

This time around ... looking for YOU to put YOUR NAME DOWN with 2 GENRE`S you would like to be Covered during the month of September.   At the end of the month, those NAMES and their chosen GENRE will go into the HAT (yes... the Hat is back this month) and a Name will be RANDOMLY pulled out of the HAT and that Chordie Member will get to Choose One Song of Their Choice in the Genre they Choose.

For example:  Jandle ... Country and Rock  .............. so using this example, the Name and the Two Choices of Genre would go into the Hat. If Jandle got pulled out of the Hat then Jandle would get to pick 1 Song of her choosing from Country and 1 Song of her choice from Rock.

NOTE:  It does NOT matter if any Members picks the same Genre as someone else, no matter how many times that may happen because, if your Name is drawn, then YOU get to Pick not only the Genre but the songs in the Genre.

READY ... SET ... GO!!!

For this month of August, looking for Two different Categories Songs.

The FIRST CATEGORY,  looking for any SONG that mentions a DAY OF THE WEEK in it.  That is, the song must mention Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday somewhere in the Song, in the Lyric`s or the Song Title.

The SECOND CATEGORY, looking for a SONG that has a NUMBER in it, any number i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ….  You get the picture I am sure.  Same again it must have the Number somewhere in the Song, Lyric`s or Song Title.

Thanks everyone, TF, Tig,  Phill and Peatle for your comments, I really appreciate them.  This whole writing poems or songs is fairly new to me and I have only tried writing a few over the last couple of years.
Thanks to easybeat who took this poem and made a song out of it.

Was sitting down today replying to emails and this popped into my head.

SO MANY SONGS  - Jandle 24.7.18

So many sounds
So many beats
Got so many songs
Can`t stop tapping my feet

The rhythm, the rhyme,
The challenge to write
By no means an easy feat
Something I want to complete

The lyrics, the tunes
My desire to write looms
Thinking melodies, harmonies
Thoughts come alarmingly

Yeah so, many sounds,
So many beats
Got so many songs
Can`t stop tapping my feet.

Thanks Peatle .... I am tryiing to learn those little picking bits, they make a difference to a song don`t they .......... takes time to learn them though aye ........ well for me it does  smile

Grah1 .... thanks for having a listen and comments.  Yep it was just me and guitar and nothing fancy, still trying to learn the guitar slowly but surely.  Still avoiding songs with the dreaded F chord on guitar as well lol smile
