I'm looking fr an acoustic for $300.00 or less. If you got some pics I'd be interested, but I'm in VA right now

I have two yamahas. Both are lower end guitars. The 335B (black with gold hardware)  has been used once or twice and has been restrung with a new set of martin silk and steels. The other(dont have model number handy) is natural with gold hardware. It could use a new set of strings and has seen some use but is in good shape. Each is 100.00.Plus shipping 150.00 with a Road runner semi hard case. Plus shipping. I will try to get some pics soon. email at joeyjoeyjoey69@hotmail.com

I have actually been consigning them at a music store in Worcester. They sell pretty quick there.

Is she selling the acoustic V?  I hope not its sooo cool to see that picture of her with it.  espically if she is going to be getting her band stuff going on.

Actually it is going up for sale. She has only used it once in a school show (Can be heard on youtube) from 7th grade. She doesnt like it because it cant be played sitting down. Along with her pink squier strat. No high end pieces are going. Also, one of the Basses are going too. A squier or silvertone (newer one, not a sears) . If anyone is interested, I can show them on skype. Or my number is listed without giving too much info.

It`s time to do some cleaning. So far I have sold my steel body Dean. Now I put my Epi studio dot up for sale. Then 2 yamahas go up. I simply have no room for so much equipment anymore. The trout will be selling 2 of hers also. Then I will go into the amps. I hate to do it, but I have to. The ones that get used all the time are staying. The ones I have had more than 25 years are staying.

That is how I ended up with my Gibson LG-2. I just wanted to try it out. I went in to buy a cheap telecaster. If a guitar starts calling you in the store, try to walk away. It is hard to let go once you answer the call.

If it helps your playing. Go for it. You may scratch the finish up after awhile. If that doesn`t bother you, don`t worry

Those are the top 100 songs. There is no law saying you have to like them. If you look at the tabs, you will find that there are a couple more songs than the top 100 listed.

People ask me if I am trying to get her to live my dream. I respond by saying that I would rather have her live my dream than "Living The Dream" . If anyone knows what that expression means. It`s not a good thing to be living the dream.

#1 Then the ppl who are saying that do not  know a thing about you and your daughter. They may even be a tad Jellous.

#2 Did she have fun and have a sence of Pride and Accomplishment?  If yes, then its time for a Major Kudo's to be handed out to her. (Oh give her mine!)

#3 Way to many of us are "living the dream"  so I think when someone who is doing just that, see's a young person stepping out and making a dream happen, its the first thing they say.
(Ill admit to being guilty of that once or twice, and it was not pretty having to find out how I looked after it was made clear)

So to you J3 and the Trout! KEEP ON ROCKING AND CHASING THE DREAM! (and she has a set of parents who will back her up and help her when she falls down, that is the most imortant part!)

Do we get a sample listen somehow?

Thnx Scott. She has to do 10 songs. She has one done that has to be polished. I will be buying an ipod when they are available. Needless to say, I`m partial so I will buy anything sne does.

I don`t think she realized how much work goes into making a 3-4 minute song. She handled it well and is looking forward to doing more. People ask me if I am trying to get her to live my dream. I respond by saying that I would rather have her live my dream than "Living The Dream" . If anyone knows what that expression means. It`s not a good thing to be living the dream.

She went in the studio for the first time today. Her singing and playing was just fine. Did her first recording.

She shot her dog first. That doesn`t wash well.If she want`s to kill herself that is her business. Taking out an innocent defenseless dog is awful. I have a dog. She should have acted like her dog probably thought she was.

PS This appears to be a cool invention for disabled folks though. So props for that.

Yes, a great invention for the disabled. But is the person who put up the post disabled? I used to practice 4-5 houirs a night when I was first learning. It seems sad to think that all of us that practiced for hours on end can be replaced by a plastic push button adapter.

Makes me think of the magnus chord organs in the 60s. If you could read numbers and letters. You could play a song in 5 minutes. It is pressing the corresponding letters and numbers. Not really learning to play. Try playing without it and see if it works

@ Jerome. I didn`t want to hit quote because running the same pictures twice would take up so much space. You should have put a picture of Keith Richards in their too. He looks older than the 3 of them combined.

Self inflicted gunshot wound. I guess that is what they mean about money not buying happiness. When you read the story, she was a train wreck in all other aspects of her life. What a waste.

Chordie is easier to use. I have made friends here. It is first choice. I will go to ultimate guitar if I can`t find a song on here. I actually found UG first. One thing to remember. UGly starts with UG. Not Ch.

Frampton Comes Alive was the best selling live album ever. Cheap Trick at  Budokhan was a great one too. My all time best live album would have to be Leonard Cohen Live At London.  I was surprised that nobody mentioned Three Dog Night Captured Live at the Forum. Or any Jimmy Buffett live albums

She has to get 10 songs ready. So far she has 3. I really don`t think she is taking this seriously. It should be fun for her, but she has to do some work for it. Hate to have her learn the hard way. But when it fizzles out because she goes in unprepared, there will be no going back. Like the old cliche, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

NOPE :-)  YOU LUCKY DOG. Does that include your daughters stuff too or just yours?

That`s just mine. I have a knack for finding deals. A lot I have picked up cheap.Actually, I am selling some little by little because I am running out of room.

J3 whats the name of the band she will be with and do they have anything on YT.  As ^ Great Job for her!

No band or name of band. Just her and her acoustic guitar. She has to get 10 songs ready. Whatever she wants to do. This company is just starting out. I told him that I would be there all the time simply because she is my teenage daughter. ( I have no trust level when it comes to her). She has all control over what she wants to do. They just record it and put it out. I told her not to get her hopes too high if it doesn`t work out. If it sells she gets 50%. If not, she is no worse off.

Short and sweet. I can`t keep a band together if my life depended on it. My daughter is trying out for a local record company next week to put out a 10 song ep. She sent a sample and they liked what they heard.
