That was pretty cool. But check out this clip - very cool!

Crossroads Festival MSG- Clapton, Cray, BB King, Jimmie Vaughan -Everyday I Have The Blues- 4/12/13

Pretty impressive group of Blues Guitarists right there. I would give up beer drinking for the talent on one man's hand.

Well maybe not beer drinking, but I'd give up something... like ironing maybe.

July and August are likely to be busy for me at work, so I will have limited time available to take off. However, with all this traveling I'm doing, I have a whole bunch of airline miles burning a hole in my wallet. If it's close enough to an airport Southwest flies, I may be able to make a 3 day weekend trip for it.

Well Gaahaaahleee! I thought it was dead - Imagine the smile on my face when I opened my small mailbox this afternoon which contained a key to the Big Mailbox and within that a package from Australia!!! It could only be one thing!

THE PATW PACKAGE IS ALIVE!!!

Just opened the box and it strikes me funny as what started out as a handful of different plectrums now contains barely any (well at least in relationship to the rest of the package) - instead we have strings, winders, tuner, guitar cleaning supplies, CD's DVD's, a slide, various percussive instruments, a nose flute ("great for parties" - LOL) and a beer hugger from Australia (pretty sure I'm keeping that).

So almost 4 years since first started, the package continues to evolve and move. Shame it wasn't here for chordiestock, but so very happy to see it arise from postal purgatory. Bushy - don't know if your efforts with the tracking slips made a difference, but if so I sure do appreciate it.

I'll be traveling the rest of the week so won't get a chance to look thought in in detail until next weekend. But I'll be happy to send her on the road again once I get back - First to email their address gets it!

There have been at least (3) NGD posts here recently that are in violation of not posting pics (just semi-kidding). I refuse to post a response until a picture is posted. IMO without a pic, it didn't happen. smile

I like Jeff's suggestions the best, and I've enjoyed listening to him on Skype Jams (seriously, Jeff is not a great singer BUT he sings for the love of the music and THAT makes him enjoyable to listen to!!!)!  Play louder, and sing because you enjoy it... not because you want to be great.

Well gosh Amy, thanks (I think) LOL - I think my singing is great - I gotta check my mike - it's probably out of tune!

It seems to me the home page defaults to the Artists button when you log on. From there you simply browse by artist by hitting a letter. That said, I just switched from forum, resources, etc to Artists with no problems.

Chordie was down for a while earlier today - seems to be working fine.

If your problem continues, I suggest you email admin@chordie.com along with screen shots of the errors and details of your OS and Browser.

Good Luck!

I can't sing worth a damn, hell, I can just barely call myself a guitar player. That said, I'd rather be playing my guitar and singing than doing just about anything else. I play and sing for fun, folks ain't paying to see me. Jerome said once, singing is 90% attitude and 10% talent. I believe if you sing from the heart, your feelings and spirit will outshine being a little out of tune and most folks appreciate the effort. And if that don't work, just crank it up! I often make up for my lack of talent with volume!

We have these machines over here in the Colonies where you stack the dirty dishes, cups, saucers, plates, glasses, goblets, etc (pretty much any utensil made for cooking or eating). You add a bit of soap, push a button or 2 - about an hour later you get reasonably clean dishes! It's magical!

Good on you TF - I'm a big believer in Karma - may you be rewarded tenfold.

I just got the renewal for my skype premium membership and realized that I haven't used it in quite some time. The money I've paid in the past has certainly been worth it, but we haven't had a jam in a while.

So whats say we try it again? I'm pretty wide open for the upcoming weekend, Friday night, Saturday afternoon / evening  is probably best (I'd like to go to the LBP jam on Sunday afternoon). So who is in? I'd propose a Saturday afternoon start at say 3:00 (US Eastern) start to allow the folks from across the pond to join in before bedtime there. I'm open to alternate times as well.

Let me know what you think and who is interested!
