Not too sure but maybe something to d owit hthe difference in power suppliy?

Ken

p.s
my video is knackered anyway lol

Ken,
Could be the difference in video formats. We use NTSC the rest of the world is PAL. If the video was "scrambled" that may be the case....just a thought

I've been to Wisconsin in the fall and it is beautiful...thanks for the pics. I'm from New England and it's similar around here. I could never live anywhere that doesn't have 4 seasons. Change is good

It isn't possible for mere mortals.  That chord is for mutants only.  I always substitute B7 and call it an arrangement.

Agreed. I use 2 fingers 1st and 3rd. I have trained my ring finger to mute the high E string through knuckle bending. Some day I will learn it properly but it's supposed to be fun and that shape is anything but fun. And before the mutants chime....It's still technically a B chord, call it a power chord if you must!!!

Just play.  If it puts a grin on your face, that's enough.

That's perfect, Zurf...that sums it up. That's what it's all about. Wise words

Try to find one and play it. Compare it to others...it's the best way to choose. Ibanez is a quality brand but try to get your hands on a few. Even if you're a beginner you should feel a difference.

Sad Day...great band

sad day...great band..one of the best ever

First...Michael Jackson is a twisted fruit cake. maybe once upon a time he was an artist but now he's just nuts by any standards. I think he has problems way beyond taking estrogen.
Second...sorry but OJ was guilty. We all watched it unfold on TV. The evidence was overwhelming. His legal team was brilliant and they outwitted the prosecution but the evidence was overwhelming.
Third...While in America you can't be tried for the same crime twice. OJ was found not guilty of murder but guilty in a civil trial. These are 2 separate trials. And I know this makes no sense but it is what it is.

Thanks Riddler...I was just starting to be able to forget Loverboy!!!!!!!!!!

Waiting for Columbus is my favorite live album. When Lowell died I thought they lost it. I bought their first album post Lowell (Let it Roll???) on cassette (yes kids no CD). After that I sort of lost track of them. It's a shame what cocaine and whiskey can do to a talented slide player!!!! Thanks for the link Top I will definitely check it out.

There are some musicians who make music because they have to, its in their soul,  they would make the same music if it was commercial or not.
Others make music to make money, they hire big name producers (or get hired by them), top songwriters, and top session musicians.  They calculate everything from their look, and sound, to the publicity they get, all so that they will appeal to the lowest common denominator.
For me I almost always seem to find the former more interesting,  they don't have to be the greatest voice, or fastest guitar picker, but they do connect on a personal level that I just don't find from the later.
Every musician wants to be heard, but some want to make sure that what you hear, is really them.

I agree with mixter. Some artists make the music they want to make and if becomes commercially successful so be it. Others try to adapt their music (and in some cases their image) to be commercially sucessful.
