Its been a tough a month 1955 arch top i bought last month i left on my bed face up under a ceiling fan on a 90 degree day i got a phone call and had to town and pick up my son came home pick up my GuiTars and it sounded terrible it pop its top anb back and crack its back  I felt terrible l killed my new guiTar it you can call 57 year old guiTar new i called the Luther i bought it from he told me he look at it he glued back to geather  i went pick it up today she sounds great charge me 95 bucks for the repair. Lesson learned case my GuiTars when done and keep them hydrated

Been busy the last 2 weeks with my 4h and county fair comentments. heading back up to play tonight whish me luck going to play Kaw-liag with base note strum hoping sounding good in the b fed room

Im so excited long story short l called up a music instrument repair shop and ask him if they had any arch tops in he laughed and said sort of. We just restored a old 1955 silvertone new frets re work the neck left it in its original condition it plays beautifully he told me it would be worth the 200 mile trip i hop in my truck 2hrs later he showed it to me i could not belive i drove all the way there for that then i played her o my i fell in love with heri gave him his 290 dollars and headed home i have photos of her and my dobro but not smart enough to post them so i guess it never happened but im still a happy Happy man       PS it sold new from sear for 45 dollars

After the advice i got last week at the hoot im so much better playing and singing then before. Im playing with feelings and emotions not the blan i might make a mistake so play slow mode it a lot moor fun now and i feel like a GuiTar player

No dought you will make lemon aid out of your troubles if it wasnt for my bad knee last year i would not have picked up a GuiTar. it is one of the best decision ive ever made

I went to the hootenanny a gain last night after i played my song one of the better players ask if he could give me some advice. He told me when im on stage im not a GuiTar player or a singer but a performer he told me he help me next week. Playing in frount of well over 150 people is just a litle scarry and i can play and sing a 3 minute song in 2minutes  ill find out for sure next week if thats what he ment or not

I been practicing the stinken B chord for a couple of weeks now and it dosnt sound half bad now most the songs i play it follows an A then gose to an E i will beat ir die trying

I have an inexpensive kona guitar it sound ok but it started buzzing and sounded tinie change to martin medium strings thought that might help but no it just sounded bad in a diffrent voice. I live in jackson hole wy i have a humidity gauge and it runs about 42 to 45 % so turned on vaporizer last night and she all ready sounded better this morning. How often should i do this?
