sorry Russell, point taken.

Old Doll, to me the song seems quite sad, I came up with the title from the words that I had writen, as follows.
intro
C/ / / / F                                                                 C
I'v been walking down a long and lonely road, without you, by my side.
C/ / / /F                                                           C
I'v been thinking about our lives together, and if we really did try.
C/ / / /F                                                        C
Could we have live our lives differently,   ?
another round of verse
G                        C
I'm coming home back to your arms X 4

hope this helps as i would really like to finish this song,  of course, I will give creidit to whom provides the words

thanks for your interest tonyblue

Got one.
Marshall G15RCD
It just right for my needs, having two inputs, one for the guitar, and one for the Boss, allows me to set the Boss input for singing, this allows me to add efects like reverb and others to improve my voice, these sounds are not controled in the Marshall, so what I put in is what comes out, but the guitar can use the features that are on the Marshall giving me (at last) a live sound that I can live with.
cost for the Marshall £40 second hand off ebay, but local to me so I picked it up.
Truely Thanks for all your help.
Now how do I find more GIGs

Wow, tandn3, at over £1,000 it is way passed my budget, I would be gigging for free for over a year, but thank you for your interest.

good question, sorry
but I did say I was hopping to make my voice sound better !!
my voice is acoustic and a bit rough.  my guitar is electric, and I play it through a Boss, so I have all the effects I need for the guitar, but my small mixer, which I also sing through has no effects, so my voice comes, out just the same as it went in.  I think that a better amp would improve my sound, as I could use the amp effects.
the music I play ranges far and wide from blues / rock to country.
hope this helps, and thank you for your interest

Hi, hope this is the right place to place this topic.

I need a new amp, and as I sing as well play the guitar through it, I am very interested in any that will help me improve my singing, so tone is more important than volume.

I don't make a lot from my gigs, so I am sorry price is very inportant.  If you offer some advice, maybe I could look on e-bay ?

Thanks, I know that you will all help.

Thank you all.
The shock is that now I am going to start looking for work, using the the My Space page for others to listen to, in the hope they will employ me, at a cheap rate.
My first target will be local care homes, so as I can build my confedance up.  I will be sending e-mails to them with the link in it.
I will let you know if it works.

The song I would like you to listen to and offer any comments is the thrid song on my list, "Rock n Roll".
Please try to be constructive.

Thanks, I will check,
In the past I have recorded, and then coverted it to mp3, to transfer the songs to my computer.  So I think that this is the only time that I have an option to move between wav and mp3, but I will go back to the manual.
Once again, thank you for your interest

Thanks for looking at this.

I have a Boss Micro BR that I love and have been using for over a year.  But now it doing somethig odd, any recording that I do seems to fill up the card, up to now I have been able to store over an hour of songs, which consisted of fourteen songs.
I have cleared the data off the card and re-inisalised the card, the last recording I did was seven and a half minutes long, and acording to the memory it took up 41mb, instead of the more mormal 4mb.

Colud anyone help me with what is going on.  I would be very greatful to you.
