Hm, let me see, ah yes; I've had a life long yen to own a twin necked guitar, just like the guy in Supertramp. That would be so cool for me.

I also had that self same problem when I stopped playing for a while and then started up again. My fingertips were very sore after 10 minutes but as I played more and more the callouses came back and now I can play for an hour or more now.

Coz I'm "Only Sixteen" - Dr Hook (original singer was Craig Douglas in the very early 60's I think)

Maybe this will halp, last rebel. First you have to take a photo of you drawing and load it onto your PC then you have to go to Imageshack or Photobucket (I use Imageshack) and upload your drawing. Once it's uploaded you then look for the Direct link. Copy this and then paste it to [img] tag on the message box here in chordie. I hope you can understand all that I've written, if not please let me know.

Thanks.

Here lies JohnnieBG
Never more again to see
He took his guitar and started to pluck it
But before to long he kicked the bucket.

I've never busked in my life but I do like to entertain the elderly folk. I have 300 + songs and I just pick out a few of the more well known songs to sing to them and they love it.

I'm a member of another forum and we have a games forum in there. I was wondering if the same could be done here in chordie. It could be called "Chordie's Forum Games". I have a number of different games that could be added to start the ball rolling. Other folk could also contribute to the games too.

This is only a request but please give it some thought as the games can be quite a lot of fun.

Thank you.

I think this problem has now been rectified. When I print songs I get both the chord name and diagram on the page.

Hi SouthPaw41L, um I think you got me mixed up with someone else but thanks for the compliment LOL. I'm English born and now living in Australia and I'm not an actor HAHA.
Cheers.

I've got DMM (Digital Music Mentor) it will load and analyse .wav and .mp3 songs straight off CD's.
It costs US$49.95, I bought it through PayPal.

I have a Terada 6 string acoustic
A newly purchased Monterey 12 string acoustic (love the sound of it)
and an SG copy 6 string electric cherry red colour (as in my sig)

Thanks for sharing that information. I found it very interesting and very informative.

I agree with all the other posters. You have to be a dedicated player, but for starters it's best to go cheap then you haven't wasted you money if you decide you don't want to play anymore.
Keep plucking away at it mate you'll be right in the end, then you can go for something better later on.
My first guitar cost me all of 2 guineas (2pounds 2shillings). LOL.
I'm now playing much more expensive guitars.

I recently purchased a Monterey 12 string accoustic guitar and the sound quality is great. It cost me AU$319.00. If anyone has any feedback on this topic I'd very much like to hear what you have to say. Thanks.

Thanks John, if I come across any other songs that have words or lines missing I'll edit them too.

I edited a couple of songs as there were words missing but now they are ok. It was luck I had the words in the first place.

Hey guys,
I'm English born but now live in South Australia, been here for 37 years. I started playing guitar at 18, I'm now 62, so that's 44 years off and on. I still keep my hand in though. lol
