hey fightclub09,
really good lyrics, very well thought through. keep working on it.
i guessed how it would go, and can imagine it sort of picked or with arpreggiated chords (hehehe love that word, makes me sound all clever).
well doen, and i'm sure Nattalie will love it.
keep shredding!
SO what kinda geeks are you?
If you are computer geeks you could pick a word or your initials and write it in binary code so that your name would be something like: "10100100010101001001001111"
or you could go with the first computer: "ABC (Atanasoff-Berry Computer)" or "ENIAC" which wasn't the first but has a cooler name.If you are gamer geeks you could pick a game or character from a game that you all play together like HALO or Everquest or you could choose whatever system you play or mix in some actions or adjectives like the "HALO P'owners" (or however the kids spell that word).
If you are D and D geeks you could honor it's creator (RIP) and call yourselves the "GYGAXES" (which has the word axes in it too-Rock On). Or you could be "The D20 System" or as a play on another band you be "System of a D20"
Just some ideas on lines of thought you might be able to use.
Turtle
actually i don't fit into any of those categories...
i'm starting to think i just might not be a geek
i'm so jealous of those people! haha
i suppose it would get tiring though...
"so what's your name, love?"
"erm... Candy Barr"
"haha, no i'm serious"
if chordie closed down, the number of daily suicides would rapidly increase
I am dating myself
oh, and it's spelt:
Tenacious D
you seemed worried about the spelling haha
and SP41L is very right, and i'm not just saying that 'cos he's a moderator
yeah i love 'em!
greatest song in the world and tribute are fantazmal (i made that word up, good eh?), and i love classico! and metal! i can play them, tooo
well it wasn't really a gig, but I played to start an assembly in Year 6.
i played Wild Thing by The Troggs
Yes PARA, I downloaded her last CD (OFFICIAL!!!! I paid for it), she is great.
Is she a singer/song writer?
no, she's a comedian. haha
seriously, she's a singer/songwriter, yes, and plays very good guitar too
i would have to say oasis's Noel Gallagher inspired me to play
I love you
same here!
oh, and my granddad also inspired me
Liam (I am very nosy, why you choose paranormal? I adore a lot of stuff, called or considered as paranormal. Just think about the DEJA VU phenomenon, being convinced you saw it already but you can place it)
well pfff erm i can't be bothered to explain just type on "xtreme hauntings" on youtube, and click anything uploaded by "talkton1ght" (that's me) or "Streetly Saviour". oh and there's a forum as well now, it's rubbish... www.xtremehauntings.myfreeforum.org
that should explain it
Just for the record, I liked it too! A5?
thankyou for commenting, glad you liked it!
and what about A5?
argh i just realised i've missed part of the song out. never mind i've edited it 5 times already i'm not doing it again xD.
"your mum's so fat, when she walks into a room she's standing next to everyone"
"your mum's so fat, when she turns around she needs to get her passport out"

You're too young will, but something I tell my audiences is that the more they drink, the better I sound. So I only play for kids (who don't care how you sound so long as you're singing silly songs) or where there are adult beverages readily available.

i have the mental age of a 20 year-old, of course i understand
and sometimes i look like a 20 year-old, too
get some blu-tack, so you can join a pin and the plectrum together. then push the pin through a through layers of skin in your thumb (make sure the end pokes out too).
sorted
it doesn't hurt, dont worry, i always put pins in my fingers.
no need to apologise, it's a good song
it's something a bit different, which is often more interesting
well done!
a very good tune, simple and effective
i felt a lot of symmpathy for the guy in the song, too.
another great song, i'm in awe (whatever that means), keep it up!
i'll give you a tenner, mate.
will that do?
I love "ERUPTION" by VAN HALEN
me too
"yer mums so fat she needs a sock for every toe"
a good one i heard that was improvised in a conversation-
"no it's not free, you have to pay for it"
"yeah that's what yer mum said"
"when yer mum wears a yellow jacket people start shouting TAXI!"
"when yer mum gets in the swimming pool, the water gets out"
"when yer mum was swimmin in the sea someone landed on her cos they thought she was a small island"
i agree with TS about Ernie Ball.
end of.
listen to someone who's reeeeally crap at singing and you'll feel better about yourself
i saw Buckethead playing this thingy somewhere on youtube, and i can now play it too. i don't know what it is, but i really recognise it from somewhere.
it's played with the left hand only, as you just use hammer ons/ pull offs, but you can use the right hand to tap bass notes (A, G, B, A). it's all on the e-string
here it is:
e:-5-0-7-0-3-5-0-5-0-8-0-5-7-0-3-0-:
it's just repeated 8x and you change the bass note from A to G to B to A at the start of each one.
if you know what it's called, please tell!
thanks
today it's:
Married With Children- Oasis
it changes all the time, but it's nearly always an Oasis song
