SO what kinda geeks are you?

If you are computer geeks you could pick a word or your initials and write it in binary code so that your name would be something like: "10100100010101001001001111"
or you could go with the first computer: "ABC (Atanasoff-Berry Computer)" or "ENIAC" which wasn't the first but has a cooler name.

If you are gamer geeks you could pick a game or character from a game that you all play together like HALO or Everquest or you could choose whatever system you play or mix in some actions or adjectives like the "HALO P'owners" (or however the kids spell that word).

If you are D and D geeks you could honor it's creator (RIP) and call yourselves the "GYGAXES" (which has the word axes in it too-Rock On). Or you could be "The D20 System" or as a play on another band you be "System of a D20"

Just some ideas on lines of thought you might be able to use.

Turtle

actually i don't fit into any of those categories...
i'm starting to think i just might not be a geek smile

lol
i'm so jealous of those people! haha

i suppose it would get tiring though...

"so what's your name, love?"
"erm... Candy Barr"
"haha, no i'm serious"

You're too young will,  but something I tell my audiences is that the more they drink, the better I sound.  So I only play for kids (who don't care how you sound so long as you're singing silly songs) or where there are adult beverages readily available.

get some blu-tack, so you can join a pin and the plectrum together. then push the pin through a through layers of skin in your thumb (make sure the end pokes out too).

sorted big_smile
it doesn't hurt, dont worry, i always put pins in my fingers.

"yer mums so fat she needs a sock for every toe"

"no it's not free, you have to pay for it"

"yeah that's what yer mum said"

"when yer mum wears a yellow jacket people start shouting TAXI!"

"when yer mum gets in the swimming pool, the water gets out"

"when yer mum was swimmin in the sea someone landed on her cos they thought she was a small island"

i saw Buckethead playing this thingy somewhere on youtube, and i can now play it too. i don't know what it is, but i really recognise it from somewhere.

it's played with the left hand only, as you just use hammer ons/ pull offs, but you can use the right hand to tap bass notes (A, G, B, A). it's all on the e-string

here it is:

e:-5-0-7-0-3-5-0-5-0-8-0-5-7-0-3-0-:

it's just repeated 8x and you change the bass note from A to G to B to A at the start of each one.

if you know what it's called, please tell!
thanks

today it's:
Married With Children- Oasis

it changes all the time, but it's nearly always an Oasis song
