dishearting thing was that no credit was ever given. clearly, some of their hits were cover tunes. Wouldn't have made me any less of a fan but I was dissappointed that they never seemed to acknowledge that fact.
Despite this, still one hell of a rock band

Re: Wrist ache newbie. (6 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
I've not suffered from that. I have no idea whether it is common. Pain is usually the body's way of saying something is going wrong. You may need to adjust your posture or your hand position some.

+1 on this...especially hand position. You're wrist ache is most likely due to poor hand position. Check your thumb position on the back of the neck.

I own one, and it's one of my favorite guitars. Plug it into a tube amp and it's golden. It doesn't have the high end finishing touches like the ES-335, but for the money you'll spend on it, you'll be hard pressed to find a better value.
If I had three hands, it would get three thumbs up.
+1 I also own one...great value. It is not an ES335 but it"s worthwhile

Good luck...hopefully you can work through it. Again, it doesn't sound like regular "getting old" stuff to me...and believe me, I know what you're referring to with getting used to feeling "older".

I think you and I are about the same age; I'm 44. That doesn't sound normal to me and I'm in horrific shape but have never experienced that. Sure, soreness after exercise (sometimes worse the 2nd day). Sounds like your virus persists

Heya Geo,
Yes I have been doing lots of pickin. I have been staying on location . We have a camp and have plenty of time to get some playing in. I am teaching a young fella to play and the Big Boss comes to the Rig and plays with me fairly regular. He's about my age and plays alot like me , so we have a great time and it sure beats working. We a have 3 rigs drilling in the area and there is another fella that comes over from one of the other Rigs and plays also. I am gettin him started on harmonica , don't know what the heck I am doing myself but I am trying to help anyway
That sounds like a little bit of heaven...except for the hard work part!!! Keep on picking and thanks for checking in. Your posts were missed!

I own all three. Each has it's place. I would say if I could only have one I would choose a strat as it's the most versatile (sound wise) in my opinion

Arguably the greatest bargain in guitar history. I'm putting a Bigsby on mine, and it's going to rawk.
+2 on the Dot. And even a Studio for a better value. It's the only electric I own that I will play without plugging in.

HI geo
Lots of emotion packed into this piece for sure and rightfully so. Glad to hear she pulled through and is still with you. It must have been scary for a while.
Well Done
KenPS I had a listen to Rosalie again..sweet song I'm curious why you haven't posted the link up for Fat Sh*t, or did I miss it along the way. Your talent to write and produce really shines in this one.
Cheers
Thanks for the kind words. I work with a partner sometimes who is way more talented than I. The music is his...only the lyrics are mine on Fat Sh*t. BTW, it was just a fun little ditty using all samples; neither of us play anything on that one. Just a fun little with Mixcraft 5 software.
