Welcome Dave, from down here in New Zealand. A nice long hot summer down here. Like Pete I'm an acoustic guy too. Dont have to worry about all the gear and a power supply! But like me I hope you enjoy the diverse and interesting characters on here

I'm kidding I know what a Crappie is. Have even caught a few myself.

Tell me please what a crappie is. For me crappy fishing is when i dont get a single bite all day, or i snag more trees than fish.

All the best anyway for your recovery

You need something stronger like a good single malt scotch, it is reknowned for its ancient medicinal qualities, its bound to reactivate those taste buds, definitley makes you play better in your own mind, and will help you sleep if you're feeling like crap!

im a slave to sheets of paper.

Like wise, i have trouble remembering lyrics from one day to the next!  Music and chords I'm fine, so if someone else is doing the singing, I'm sorted.

Chordie is great for when Im on the spot needing the words.

I had the same problem this morning. I logged out of Chordie then logged in again, and it was fixed. This has been an ongoing issued for some time for several members now intermittently, not sure what is causing it

I like your man cave.  Wood for resonance.  Fly tying rigamarole.  Guitars all over the walls.  That's hard to beat.  Awful hard to beat.

Totally agree, and envious, my "man cave" comprises about 10 sq feet of the lounge room, and as Mrs TT is into everything being in their place, ah well, the price of love.....

I find prayer works. It gives you inner peace, and eventually sleep. If religion is not your thing, learn the art of meditation. very healing. Otherwise, ask for professional help. I feel for you, Joey.

I recently installed a new modem. Go to the web site of your modem manufacturer, they usually have a step by step guide to installation for your model

Nothing worth sharing, heading into autumn here. Friday night, quite cold, settling down with a beer, wondering WTF North Korea is playing at and wondering even more what the Chinese will do. One nutcase with a nuke doesnt bear contemplating!

Happy Easter everyone. Havent bin on here for a while, but still get to read all your little pearls of wisdom and wit most days

I had an old Vester acoustic electric, which I donated to the local prison. An local order of nuns works with the inmates to get them playing music and getting their creative instincts working as part of their rehab back into the real world. The prisoners have a public concert once in a while and it was good to see the old gat being used for the good of those guys
