It sounds like to me that when it fell that the string might have cut a deeper notch in the nut therefore driving it closer to the fret board. Try replacing the nut. This will probably be the cheapest fix.

Well from watching the video it appears that the whole song is A B C#m. Thats what I got out of it. And it sounds correct.

These are for the most part good songs. If you want a really dumb one here it is. Every time I play it it puts me in a good mood.

Kung Foo Fighting!!! Simple 3 chord song.

Everybody was [D]Kung Fu fighting, those cats were [Em7]fast as lightning
In fact it was a [D]little bit fright'ning, but they fought with [Em7]expert timing.

It will not harm your guitar. Maybe your fingers will hurt a little from fretting it harder. What you should do is find out what strings size sound better to you. Then have your action set up by a pro. Then all you have to do is change strings once in a while with the same gauge strings. You should have it set up at least once a year.

Rotating the right foot works fine if you are left handed.

Trace Elliott, SWR and Fishman I think are the best sounding. Go try them out and see for yourself.

A great song is "Just the way you are" by Billy Joel. It is fairly easy and women dig it.

Try practicing the songs with some chouds taken off the paper and slowly remove all chords.  and do the same thing with the lyrics.

A lot of chords have some common finger positions. What I try to do is figure out the common position and leave that finger on the guitar and then work around to the other position.

Dude, all you have to do is pluck the note and either maintain or increase finger pressure when you slide.

Turning up the distortion is good but what if you are playing something clean?

Also they have a sustainer pedel.

That is a good question. You should ask the guitar shop. I think that it would not be possible because different sets fo strings put different tension on the neck. Ex. Lights might pou 200lbs of pressure and med/lights will put 250lbs. Therefore they would never be in perfect tune. You might even break a string.

What I would do is try soap and water. The black stuff on your fingers is just a residue comming off the guitar strings. Also try changing the strings and keeping them clean.

I play every day for hours on end and I never have gotten any bruises on my fingertips. I have been playing for 20years and never met anyone that did.

It is just pain you are experiencing. It will go away.

Hey the scale pattern that LX is reffering to is a E minor pentatonic scale pattern. With the root note in the 1 position on the 6th string. Thus his pattern would be in the key of F. I believe when useing pentatonic scales the blues are played with minor scales.

I have to agree with Bootlegger. My Alvarez is great sounding I have the ad62sc and it is great. Also my Takeamime has a deep full sound. It has a solid top and botom  I think it is an E series.

I had this problem with my guitar and it turned out to be the pezio pickup. The crystal in it went bad. Changed the pezio and it was fine.

When your guitar is vibrating are you playing it through an amplifier? If you are this happens with all acoustic guitars. Your top plat will vibrate at cretain frequencies. The way to fix this is to get a notch filter. Either on your guitar or amplifier. When playing with an amp turn your notch filter on and tune it in to the frequency and it will stop vibrating.

Do not play after a shower or after doing dishes. No hand cream on finger tips.
