I spend too much time on Facebook... I was looking for a "like" button there. lol

Fantastic! Go for it, Crevs. Any advice I could give wouldn't be worth anything but just do what you do. All the best, mate.

What's the worst that can happen? It gets taken off youtube. They always give you the option to remove it if there's a problem. Go for it. Only problem I've ever had was with a Van Morrison song - and it's still up there.

Hi Gembagemba, welcome to Chordie. You could try checking out the Public Books section from the selection of options above. There is a section for beginner songs in there.

Short answer, moss965, is you don't. Chordie does not host any of the songs on it's index, they are sought out from other sites and listed here in much the same way as a search engine.

You would need to submit your transcription to another site, like ultimate guitar or similar, and then add it to the chordie index by adding the URL of the page of your transcription via the "add songs" part of the Resourses page.

Welcome and good luck.

What can I say?

Well, I'm relly glad I decided to go along to the gig. Brilliant evening of local talent. 5 bands, 2 standing out above the rest. Of course the only one I'll mention is The Core. You guys were fantastic, Mark. Excellent, "mature" musicianship and a strong singer. A rowdy crowd always helps thing along too. And the place was jumping.

Very nice to finally get to meet you too. If I hadn't been on my way back from the little boys room I may never have, quite literally, bumped into you lol

Thanks for a great night.

Can't rate www.justinguitar.com highly enough. Welcome to the journey.

Excellent. My only criticism of the tracks would be that the vocal levels were a bit low. Glad you sorted it. Trying to talk my brother into coming along.

My experience with Scotsmen is that they don't speak English either.  (Sorry, couldn't resist)

True story.  I was camping with a Scotsman and a southwestern Virginia hillbilly.  The hillbilly had a southern accent mixed with a mountain accent.  The Scotsman spoke like a Scot (which he will tell you is how all people ought to talk and everyone else has an accent but him).  So anyway, they're sitting beside one another at the campfire absolutely enthralled by each other whenever the other opened his mouth.  Finally, someone said "I've never seen either of you so polite and pay such close attention to another.  What's going on?"  Each of them said at the same time, "Because I can't understand a word he says.  Is it English?"

Hahaha. This happens even with Scots and Englishmen! lol Aye, the rest of the world talks funny.

The Zoom A2.1 U pedal should be all any acoustic player should need for effects. They are awesome.

I got mine a couple of days ago and am loving it.

Welcome to Chordie, Cabluegrass, we look forward to hearing more from you.

I had the privelage to see this guy performing on the streets of Chester and he is amazing.

I like these guys who are regulars in Glasgow city centre...

I looked into getting a Zoom A2 1U pedal. Loads of effects and a drum machine built in.

Hi Beth23, if you find some you can add it to the index from the resourses tab at the top. Just follow the instructions.

Just watched a video of Groucho doing this song and it looks like he adds a couple of bass notes right enough.

No idea, SleepingBear but welcome to the forum and Happy New Year! Maybe if you could provide a link to the page you are referring to, someone could have an infromed guess. Chord charts are funny things and when people provide their own version of chords to songs they can sometimes add the odd symbol to denote a particular fingering. Sometimes on the page they will give the fingering for the asterixed chord, sometimes not. Chordie does not host these songs directly but seeks them out from other sites so maybe visiting the original host site may provide some answers too. Sorry I can't be of any more help.

On further investigation I'm now leaning towards something like the zoom a2.1u pedal. Looks quite cool. Any thoughts, anyone.

Thanks Bushy, I realise that it's not an acoustic amp, I was just wondering if it would sound ok. I've been looking for an amp with lots of toys on it like loops and rhythms and maybe even a recording function but they all seem to be geared towards electric. The search continues. Thanks again smile

One quick question....

Is this amp any good with an electo/acoustic guitar?

Like the man himself says - he started out with nothin' and he's still got most of it left.

Legend!

Love this guy!!!!!
