My wife gave me a Yankee Candle Car Jar odor eliminator. It worked, The truck has 2 vents in the back of the cab. I have to put o screen over them. Thanx to everyone for all the suggestions. Hopefully, I won`t have to use them again.

Does anyone know how to get a dead animal smell out of a car? A mouse or some small rodent died inside of my Chevy pickup. I tore out the kick panels, rocker panel covers and the panel in the cab behind the seat..There was a rotted maggot covered pile that smelled like you know what. I cleaned and scrubbed it the best I could. Vacumed the droppings or whatever it was and sprayed the interior with cleaner and fabreze. (DON'T BELIEVE THE COMMERCIALS). I got most of the smell out but there still is some smell left. Has anyone ever had this happen or know how to get the smell out?

I have a dean. I don`t get much use out of it. When I do, I love it. Tunes and plays just like a guitar. Sounds like a banjo.

Actually, are they breaking at the nut or the tailpiece or bridge? Is there a sharp spot that is cutting into the strings and weakening them until they break? I had that problem with my Rickenbacker. It was a little sharp spot in the nut. A couple swipes with some sandpaper fixed it. Note: An experienced repairman did it. I wouldn`t try it myself.

Go up a size or use a softer pick.

Remember him from all the commercials. He had the biggest hit in England. Longer than Elvis and The Beatles.

James Gandolfini died of an apparent heart attack today. All of us in the Italian community are shocked. He was only 51.

I have always kept the knobs all the way up. Back in the 80s, I had an old telestar guitar "Fixed up". They needed a spot to put a toggle switch so I had the tone control removed. I would have had the volume removed if needed. Unless you need to turn it down and don`t want to get up, it may be useful. Then again, if you have to stop playing to listen to something, there would be no need to turn it down.

A guy left an accordian in his car with the windows open hoping it would get stolen. When he came back, he found 2 accordians. All kidding aside. I had one. They are heavy, extremely hard to play. Try it and you will have a new respect for accordian players. All I could play was the riff to "In A Gadda Da Vida". Then I gave up. I may try a concertina eventually.

I think that is the one. He is the producer

My daughter Gabrielle has her first song finished. It is available for download on Sound Cloud. Gabrielle- Velvet elvis acoustic cover. Needless to say I am partial so it is the best I have ever heard. All the music and vocals and backup vocals are done by her. What does everyone think? Note: she is only 15.

My daughter started out with a Squier mini strat. She was 9 at the time. Within a year she was using full size guitars. An electric is the way to go (my opinion). An amp can be turned down low. Or buy an amp that is not that loud to begin with. A honeytone ius cheap and does the job.

I know which one you mean now. My daughter has the exact same one. Same color and a white pickguard. I found it at a yard sale for 50.00.

I have gone through a few. Thanks to my daughter. Get a clip on one. Not the little cheap cloth ones that is an overrated elastic band.I have had a Dunlop, a Sabine and even a First Act. As long as the spring stays tight, it will suffice

If it still plays and sounds good, leave it and think of it as a 1000 dollar lesson. If you intend to keep it. Then you won`t have to worry about value. My 59 gibson LG 2 looks like it went through a war and still plays and sounds good. It aint broke, so I wont fix it. Including holes and a crack

I know what he means. it`s a celebrity death watch, only with musicians. Waiting for musicians to die. Examples- Chuck Berry, Pete Seeger. Anyone who is old or in poor health. It is kind of morbid. My wife and I play celebrity death game. When a famous well known person dies, you have to be the first to tell the other.
